Bob's Red Mill Organic Oats Rolled Regular, 16 Ounce

This is the perfect Oatmeal Easy to cook in a microwave and the taste is great. The oatmeal is very soft after it is cooked and there are no hard shell pieces of husk. This product is Organic and all natural making it very suitable for people with digestive issues. This can be used as a Protein cereal or to make a Protein granola snack. This is a very good source of Fiber and Protein. Very happy and I will keep buying it.

I keep crickets on hand as feeders for my spiders and frogs, and Bob's Red Mill Organic Rolled Oats have become my go-to dry food source for maintaining them. At this price point, it's far more economical than specialty cricket diets, and in my experience, it works just as well for basic maintenance. My crickets readily eat the oats, and I've had minimal die-off since switching to them — which, if you've kept feeder crickets, you know is the real benchmark of success. They stay healthy and active with the oats available as a dry food staple alongside a water source. A quick note on my specific use case: I don't need to gut-load my crickets since I use supplemental vitamins for the frogs, and gut-loading doesn't provide meaningful benefit for the spiders. If gut-loading is important for your setup, you may want a more nutrient-dense option or to supplement alongside the oats. But for straightforward cricket maintenance as a dry staple, these work great. The 16-ounce bag lasts a long time since crickets don't eat much individually, making it a solid value for anyone in the feeder insect hobby.

The product itself is great! A truly organic product that is great for baking and making treats or using as a healthy garnish to top your baked goods! This was a smaller bag than I thought it was gonna be (see picture— bag from amazon is on right— I should have read the fine print so that’s my fault) I originally bought it because I thought it was a better value than buying at my local store. But when the smaller bag arrived, I realized it was not. The “made on:” date was super recent meaning this bag was super fresh and had over two years before it expired!

I add Bob's Red Mill Organic Oats to my smoothies. Oats are perfect and make my smoothies delicious.

I’m celiac, so gluten free and that wasn’t a problem. I am not allergic to coconut. I reacted both times I tried to eat this, so there must bea cross contamination with peanuts. I’ve never had an issue before, but I think I’ll stick to getting this in the store.

Everything from Bob’s Red Mill is top tier, and these oats are no exception! Comes in a resealable bag. I used them to make a large batch of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and they turned out lovely. Super soft and chewy and delicious. As far as oats go, I think brand makes a difference, and these are a cut above your average Quaker Oats. I think it’s worthwhile to splurge on the more expensive things sometimes if it means you get a better end product and that was DEFINITELY true of the cookies I made with these. It would be a bit out of my price range to eat these oats every morning for breakfast. But I’ll get these from now on when I want to elevate my baked goods!
