Review: Intriguing! - We utilized the book as part of a world literature homeschool curriculum. My kids and I really enjoyed it! The illustrations are out of this world and the stories were intriguing with really great lesson embedded in them. Great way to explore other cultures!
Review: Great Book! - I adore this book. Even though it is written for children, I still enjoy this book as an adult. The writing is well done and written for a North American audience while still maintaining the original story and messages. I love how each story has an intro and an outro. These sections give insight to how these stories and characters fit into Hindu culture and looks at deeper spiritual meanings the stories provide. There is also a list of characters giving an illustration and short description of everyone in each story. This was very helpful and fun to look through. The book is beautifully illustrated with an amazing use of color! There is even a section that describes the process of how the art was made which I found fascinating. Highly recommend this book!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall awesome
*by L***R on November 22, 2021*

The book is full of fantastic stories and illustrations. As a westerner, I wasn't sure how approachable these stories would be since I'm not very familiar with Hinduism at all but to my delight I found them readable, entertaining, and enriching. The pages are filled with wonderful illustrations like the ones on the cover. I appreciated the illustrated character guide at the beginning to help me learn who is who. Each chapter also has some explanatory notes from the author. My only tiny gripes: it's smaller than I expected, about ten inches in height I would guess, and the quality feels just a tiny bit...self-published? Maybe it is self published I don't even know. But these are really no big deal at all and totally irrelevant considering how awesome the book is overall. I loved it. My five year old loved it (as a read aloud). Get it.
