Authentic Throwback Appliance Company Deluxe Snow Cone Station

This machine looks great, and it is well built. The illuminated sign and interior make this machine stand out as a fun retro decoration, even when not in use. There are stylistic decals on both bottom side and front panels (not pictured). The machine portion is already assembled, but the bottom half is a pedestal requiring some assembly. The machine comes with a bag for sand (not included) to anchor the base. The pedestal frame is relatively thin aluminum which may not be rigid enough for frequently moving about. That being said, the mechanism for shaving ice appears to be rugged and well built. There is a reservoir for melted ice which may overflow if unattended, but it is large enough to hold runoff for a single event (like a child's birthday party). Shavings fall directly (and rapidly) into the cone or glass, which is a nice feature and will reduce the overall amount of water from melting ice. All in all, this product looks good and works well, but it is best suited as permanent room appliance and not something to be pulled out and put away for each use. I would recommend this product for anyone looking for an attractive, retro-style addition to any game room, activity room, or kitchen area.

Came damaged on back of machine itself, and the back bottom was broke. The piece between the top and bottom was broke. And it don't matter which setting you use it comes out the same. There is no ice adjustment.

It's a nice machine but it was crack. An all the parts did not work. Not worth the price.
