Just added the NOCO Genius 10 to my large selection of NOCO chargers - love reduced charging times
This is a review of the NOCO Genius10: 10A 6V/12V Smart Battery Charger. I have used NOCO battery chargers for years including the following: -- Genius Gen Mini 1 -- Genius G750 -- Genius G1100 -- Genius G3500 -- Genius 5 -- Genius 10 (as of one month ago) I have had only good experience with NOCO battery chargers. I recommend them. I purchased the Genius 10 purely to reduce the charging time on a car battery. While my Genius 5 has been perfectly fine for car batteries, the Genius 10 charges roughly twice as fast as the Genius 5. I am pleased with the reduced charging times. But if you don't mind a charging for 12 to 14 hours then the Genius 5 will be fine for you. The Genius 10 weighs about 3.3 pounds, whereas the Genius 5 weighs only 1.5 pounds. The NOCO Genius 10 charger may be used to charge the following battery types, either 6-volt or 12-volt: (1) lead acid; (2) AGM; or (3) lithium. The Genius 10 also has a “Repair” mode that may bring a damage battery back to life. The Genius 10 may also be used as a power supply. Soon after I received the NOCO Genius 10, I used it to charge all of my 12-volt batteries, including the following: (1) a deeply depleted large car battery in a seldom-used car; (2) 20 amp-hour lead acid batteries; (3) 22 amp-hour AGM batteries; (4) 35 amp-hour AGM batteries; and (5) 45 amp-hour lithium iron phosphate batteries. I am very pleased that this charger works great with all of our 12-volt batteries. I do not have any 6-volt batteries to charge. In the past, I’ve used “Repair” mode with my Genius5 charger, but not yet with the Genius10. I like that NOCO Genius chargers are very easy to operate. Unless you have extraordinary eyesight, I highly recommend that you find the user manual for the Genius 10 online, since the printed version that comes with the unit uses very small text. I think most folks will only need to read the user manual one time. Although you should probably review the instructions for “Repair” mode immediately before using it. Tip: The first time you use the Genius 10, it will be in “Standby” mode. That is, it won’t do anything. For the first use, you need to manually select the operating mode. For example, for a standard car battery, you would press the “MODE” button until the “12V” light is lit. Keep pressing the “MODE” button if you want the other modes (like “12V/AGM” or “12V/Li”). If you miss the light you want, just keeping pressing the "MODE" button until it cycles back to what you want. You can easily find the estimated charging times for any NOCO battery charger with a web search. Of course, charging times vary based on battery capacity (amp-hours), depth of discharge, and health of the battery. The NOCO Genius 10 can charge a standard car battery in 6 to 12 hours, about half the time of the Genius 5. You may need an extension cord to use your NOCO Genius 10 on your car or truck. I use a 25-foot 3-prong heavy-duty extension cord.

Riptide pool vacuum owners, look no further!
I just bought this after researching what is the best battery charger or maintainer for owning a Riptide pool vacuum system. This is for personal use and not running a business. Advice for new pool owners or even existing ones, do not buy a junky 500-1500 dollar pool robot, but a hammerhead or Riptide vacuum. Long story short I bought this maintainer to charge the vacuum battery and maintain it between uses. Charged it in no time and I also use this for my Yamaha 700 ATV. Fantastic unit. Only regret is before I opened this, I didn't test it on an ATV battery that died on me to test it's recovery mode. Chance are that I gave the kid at Advanced Auto parts a free ATV/motorcycle battery because if he had one of these NOCO 10s, chances are he saved the battery and got new life into it. Cant go wrong with this especially for the fast charging, force recharge mode, and versatility to charge, maintain, and breathe batteries back to life. Just one more thing, First time charging the battery after sitting idle for 3 weeks and 2 uses in my case and charged it to full literally in 5 min. I like the unit for keeping the battery at full between uses and not overcharging costing me $300 for a new battery. Well worth the money for less worry and hassle. Hope this helped someone with whatever they were looking to use this for. Also cable length is more than sufficient. Im sure there's an extension option if needed too.

Saving money! So far so good.
So far so good. I purchased the genius 10 in hopes to save some of my batteries around the house and save a little bit of money in the long run. I have everything from cars trucks, RVs, dirt bikes, generators, and everything in between. I use this specifically on my generator, which uses a 12V sealed lead acid battery. I had the generator sitting for a few months in the storage container where it went through some hot and cold Cycles needless to say my lack of maintenance the battery was dead and would not turn over the generator. The generator is a 9000 W champion. I took the battery out and I did not measure the voltage prior to, but I put it on another brand “smart charger”. That brand rhymes with “shoemaker”. That charger ran for a little bit, but then aborted the charging cycle because it said it was bad. I then put that battery on an old-school charger not a smart one one that’ll just run no matter what and left it on for a few hours and then reinstalled the battery again it would not turn the generator over. I pulled the battery out and it measured 11.5 V and I hooked it up to Topdon battery analyzer, and it said the battery was bad. I purchased the Noco genius 10 not just because I wanted to try it on this but because I know all around it seems to be a good charger. As the Noko instructions said, I hooked up the battery and ran it through a normal charging cycle prior to using the repair mode. The normal charging cycle only ran for about 10 minutes before it said it was fully complete. I hooked up my battery analyzer again and again it said it was bad. I then ran the 12 V repair mode on the Noco and it ran for about four hours. After the repair mode was complete I hooked it up to the battery analyzer again and it still said it was bad, but I wanted to give it a shot in the generator. Oh, and I forgot after the repair mode the voltage on the battery red 12.6 V and it held 12.6 V overnight so that was a positive sign. I put the battery in the generator and it started flawlessly. So I spent $99 on the Noco charger and saved myself $40-$45 from buying another battery for my generator so it seems to already be paying for itself.

Great charger, so easy to use.
This charger is a life saver. We were having no luck with our old charger when trying to revive the RV batteries that we just bought last year. They got too low and couldn't get them to take a charge. This charger has a repair ability which is a life saver. It's a great compact size and it actually restored life to our batteries.

Nice charger that can be used with multiple battery types
Nice compact unit and easy to use once you understand how to. The negative first and I took a star off for the following. It comes with a terrible instruction manual. The manual that comes in the box is ineffective on describing how to use the charger and the text font is almost microscopic. What is the secret and in these modern times how hard is it to manufacture a manual with color photos? I found a good web site that describes how to use the GENIUS10. I am using this charger on a aircraft battery and the charger topped it off followed by trickle mode. The charge speed was quite quick. I like how many types of batteries this charger can work with. I also like that it has a repair mode and can be used as a 12 volt power supply. I am using the GENIUS10 to power a 12 volt tire pump instead of hooking the pump to my truck's battery. There is no noticeable noise from the charger when in use.

Worked Exactly as Advertised and did a wonderful job of charging my Jeep's Battery
I recently tried out the NOCO Genius10 Smart Battery Charger on my Jeep Rubicon, and I have to say I’m pretty impressed. Since I live in a townhouse, I powered it up using my Jackery Power Station, which made it super convenient—no need for a long extension cord or anything like that. It took about three hours to bring my Jeep’s battery from roughly 40% up to about 90%, which is pretty much exactly as advertised. Overall, it was really easy to use and did exactly what it promised, so I’m definitely happy with it. Updated 11/29 I have to say. This is by far one of the best products I have used in a long time. It just WORKS. And just as the Manu said it would. It's sad that I even have ot say this but that shows you the state of consumer products. NOCO really hit this out of the park with ease of use, reliability and hardware. It reminds me of Apple Hardware with the build quality. This is being used with my 23 Rubicon. Its not my daily driver - I normally use it when I have a drone contract and am out in the middle of nowhere. So, the battery does not get fully charged and sits quite a lot. I purchased the "NOCO GC008 X-Connect M10 XL Eyelet Terminal Accessory" instead of using the Terminal clips. For a Jeep, I have to unlock the hood latches, open the hood, connect the clips and then close the hood until its charged. Without a garage this can be a headache with weather. The Eyelets solve the problem. I ran a 14Guage wire from the battery to the floor inside the cab. This way the cable is always connected and all I have to do is plop the Power Station on the seat and plug in the Genius 10. I had a chance to try out the system today and wow, talk about easy. This is truly a life saver and knowing my battery is topped off and maintained makes all the difference for me. --NOCO now has a customer for life. --

This Thing Brought My “Dead As a Doornail” Battery Back From the Afterlife
I bought the NOCO GENIUS10: 10A 6V/12V Smart Battery Charger – Automatic Maintainer, Trickle Charger & Desulfator fully prepared to give a eulogy for my truck battery. I had already gone through the five stages of grief. Acceptance was setting in. Then this little black wizard showed up. First off, this thing is smarter than some people I know. You just hook it up, push a button, and it basically says, “I got this.” No complicated menus, no engineering degree required. It automatically figures out what kind of battery you’ve got and adjusts like it actually cares about your battery’s feelings. My battery was so dead it probably had one foot in the recycling bin. The NOCO went into repair mode like a tiny battery paramedic and started working its magic. A few hours later? Boom. Truck started like it had just chugged an energy drink. What I love: • It’s automatic. I don’t have to babysit it. • It won’t overcharge. I can hook it up and not sit there staring at it like it’s a campfire. • Temperature compensation means it adjusts whether it’s freezing outside or southern-summer hot. • Works on both lead-acid and lithium. Basically the Swiss Army knife of chargers. It’s also built solid. Not “cheap plastic that smells like regret.” It feels like something you’d trust in your garage during a storm. I’ve used it on my truck, ATV, lawn mower, and a battery I was 99% sure was legally deceased. It handled them all without drama. No sparks, no panic, no “why is that smoking?” moments. If you’ve ever turned the key and heard that sad click click click sound of disappointment, do yourself a favor and get this charger. It doesn’t just charge batteries — it restores hope. Five stars. Would absolutely let it perform battery CPR again.

Powerful, smart, and incredibly easy to use
The NOCO GENIUS 10 is hands-down one of the best battery chargers I’ve owned. It’s compact but seriously powerful, and the 10A charge brings batteries back to life much faster than my old charger. I’ve used it on both 6V and 12V batteries, and it automatically detects and charges exactly as it should no guesswork at all. I especially love the smart maintenance and trickle mode. Once the battery is charged, it switches automatically to maintain it, so I can leave it connected without worrying about overcharging. The display is clear, setup is simple, and the build quality feels solid and durable. Whether you’re maintaining a car, motorcycle, boat, or lawn equipment, this charger just works. Reliable, efficient, and absolutely worth the money. Highly recommend!
