Amazing Stabilzers!
We use these stabilizer bars on our electric-motor RV stabilizers. Real easy to install once we looked at other online posts of installations (no instructions - looked at pictures of other folks who bought this and posted how they did it). These are HIGH QUALITY solid stabilizer bars. Comes with all the hardware you need. I would recommend the manufacturer send self-drilling screws (would make a quick installation even quicker), but my electric drill did the trick. Overall, very satisfied.

Does What It's Supposed to
My order came double-boxed and the kit inside the inner box was cushioned with styrofoam, so it is packaged well. The kit from Amazon does not come with any instructions whatsoever, but I'm still giving the product 5 stars, because that has nothing to do with Lippert or JT's Strong Arms and everything to do with Amazon. You can find the instructions fairly easily online. Just search for JT's Strong Arms installation instructions and they'll pop up. You can also watch YouTube videos. There are a number of them out there. Installation requires you to be somewhat handy. You will need to tap new threads in your trailer frame, because the self-tapping bolts that are included with the kit will NOT self-tap into the steel frame. Make sure you have some good quality, sharp drill bits to drill your pilot holes. Mine were not very sharp and took me a while to finally break through. That's on me though. I'd say getting the pilot holes drilled and the threads tapped was by far the hardest part of the whole install. Getting all the hardware bolted together to get the supports ready to install is also pretty time consuming. The whole job should probably take you about two to three hours if you have all the tools ready. The product does exactly what it says it will do. It removes almost all motion inside the trailer from people moving around. It does not take all the motion out, but I'd say it does away with about 90% of it and that's good enough for me. If you go into with that expectation, you won't be disappointed.

Great! might be hard to install though.
Once installed these work very good. They don't take away all the trailer movement but they do a lot. After installing them and setting my trailer to the suggested instructions it does work very good. The biggest draw back was the install, my current scissor jacks had small bolts on the bottom then what was provided for the strong arms, so I had to drill out all the holes for the bolts that came with the strong-arms. After drilling out all the holes though it was pretty easy to get everything set up and bolted in. I had to put 4 in the back and 2 in the front because my front jacks are set at an angle. The kit also comes with plenty of hardware to install how you want. I would say that you can review the guides on how to install but then choose how to install on your own. all in all these are great!

Nice system to stabilize a trailer
Package arrived on time. System was missing one self tapping bolt/screw. Instruction are almost useless. Pictures in instructions are completely useless. As a professional welder and fabricator since 1978 this is a decent product, built well and seems solid. I attached this system to a thirty three foot Coachmen travel trailer with serious stability problems while stationary. I elected before hand to use four bars at the rear of the trailer and the remaining two bars at the front. I truly believe this system should come standard with eight arms not six. The eight self tappers do work when used properly pre-drilling with a self centering 5/16" drill bit. Be careful where you use the 3/8" washers as the exact amount and no more are provided. The t-handles provided to lock down the two piece bars are in a bad location but I really don't see a viable alternative. After installation I rechecked each and every piece, you do not want this coming apart traveling down the interstate. The BAL jacks I attached this system to were a perfect fit for this item. This is a great system and I gave four stars because for the money they could have at least provided decent instructions and ALL the parts. Anyone with basic skills with a drill and wrenches and a tape measure should be able to install this system in one day if not two. My trailer is now rock solid steady. Also, if you don't like the gaudy decal on each of the six stabelizers, they peel right off. It's late August and I wanted to add a tip that many may have missed in the instructions. After deploying your jacks and tightening the bars, apply a little more down pressure to each jack. This will take out a little more wiggle in the trailer. UPDATE: a four week trip to Arizona with our seventh stop in Sonoran desert. Been here two months and stabilizer system has made all the difference. Every three weeks or so the jack pads settle into the desert floor so I re-adjust all four corners and its no fault of the stabilizers. Best money I've spent in a long time. Highly recomended.

Great Price but Missing Part
We have been camping for the past 3 seasons with our Jayco Jay Flight SLX 184BS and it rocks when we are moving about in the travel trailer even with upgraded jacks. E-trailer wanted over $300 for this JT StrongArm. eBay for imitation brands are about $140-$160. So, I decided to buy LCI JT StrongArm from Amazon for $175. The item came but it was missing the 6 T-bolts and installation manual. The tubes look and feel sturdy. I'm waiting for replacement parts from LCI. I deducted 1 star because I have to waste time to resolve this. Update - July 2025 I strongly recommend this product! JT Strong Arm made a huge difference! I upgraded my Jayco Jay Flight 184BS with 9,000 lbs rated jacks the first year we bought the travel trailer and I only saw little improvements. Then, I used a couple of the old jacks to support under our slider and steps. That, too, only made a small improvement. As my kids get older, their movements shake our travel trailer quite a bit. With this JT Strong Arm, it made a huge difference and the best bang for my bucks! Looking back, I should have done this first then upgrade the jacks but don't need to get 9,000 lbs rated. So, I revised my rating back to a 5 star.

Instructions that come with it are terrible to follow. Use YouTube video for installing. Makes my camper very sturdy with no movement. Wish I knew about this earlier.

Delivery was quick and product value is quite good. Components and hardware provided are of good quality. Installation is more elaborate than anticipated, however. Hi-speed steel bits, lubricating products and a tapping kit were required, in addition to other standard tools (ratchet, drill, personal protective equipment, etc.), patience and a little creativity. My travel-trailer (33-ft Passport Ultra-Light) has an insulated underbelly which means I do not have access to cross section steel frames as is required for optimal installation. Instruction manual is ok at best, but, when prompted to call JT technical support (Lippert Components Inc.), I spoke with Vance (after several tries and waiting some time on the phone) who promptly informed me that I could install my front stabilizers to the A-Frame portion of my trailer. In doing so, my front stabilizers would no longer be mounted at 90 degrees from one another (you install 2 on each side at the front, 1 on each side at the back, for a total of 6), but rather at a 20-degree angle, at best. To my amazement, quality components telescope, pivot and move quite well when moving my scissor jacks up or down. Although the "triangulation" is done, this limited angle probably doesn't really help so much with side-to-side stabilization, however. An option could have been to install a cross steel beam at the front portion of my trailer (this is more expensive, more work and adds additional weight) which I chose not to do. All in all, my travel trailer is indeed much more stable and the JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer kit did what it promised. I notice a big difference when stepping in or out of the trailer. I did have to move my steel propane gas conduit an inch or so out of the way (at the front and back of my trailer, on one side) to allow for enough of the steel chassis to drill into. An online video of how to deal with possible installation obstacles would have been appreciated. The installation video available of the jacks on a bare frame is nice, but not nearly representative of my experience. I do recommend this product, but make sure you are patient, handy and creative. Happy RV'ing.

Excellent product Had to rework install as my camper has the scissor jacks running front to back as opposed to side to side on most standard campers Other than that I love these things the camper is so stable it doesn’t move at all

Arrived and was disappointed that is was yellow in colour, not gray as listed in the description. This may not be a big deal to some, but I find bright coloured accessories to be gaudy on an otherwise attractive looking trailer. Also, some of the paint was chipped and dinged on the bars. This is likely due to the poor packaging and lack of foam/styrofoam used inside of the box.

I installed these on our 24' bunk model after a season of waking up if the kids moved too much. Should have done this last year!! Only issue was my cheap scissor jacks had 5/16" bolts so I had to enlarge the holes for the 3/8" eye bolts. The trailer is so solid and they are permanently installed (nothing to store). They are heavy duty, 50 pounds worth! They could definitely be lighter but are very worth it.
