This neck strap works well with my alto. Its comfortable and feels sturdy. I especially love the hook because it has a button you can push down on instead of having to dig your thumb into the latch. The adjustment is smooth too. Even though it has padding for your neck, the rest of the neck strap is still very comfortable because it has such a smooth material.

LIKES: This neck strap is much more comfortable than the stock thin narrow strap that came with alto sax. The material is good quality, the 3/4 inch padding is shaped well and material that touches skin feels right. The adjustment length is fine-good range. The plastic hook is high quality, stronger thicker material than stock hook. Good value at $10. DISLIKES: The length of padding could be longer, sometimes the padding shifts and portion of the strap is touching the neck. So needs to be adjusted to center of neck. This is a neck strap, so I could still feel the weight of the sax. But much less than the stock narrow strap. If I had a heavier tenor sax, I would probably get an shoulder harness or maybe one that has the thick padding on either side of neck center. Curious if those double padding really relieves the weight. I guess it distributes the weight better, but still the neck is holding all the weight. Recommended for value and comfort.

I have two saxophone players in the house. both say this neck strap is very comfortable no issues. does not rub their neck raw has soft cushion. clip in nicely no worries about clip breaking while marching secure instrument

This product is not worth for the price, quality is poor. Not working. Not easy to adjust the neck strap. Difficult to adjust the hight. Also it is twisted in buckle. Not happy with this product

For the price, you can't really go wrong. This strap is comfortable and does it's job very well, supporting my alto saxophone with no issues - however, mine arrived twisted with no way to unravel it without undoing the stitching. It's not been too big an issue since I've twisted it the correct way and hidden that uncomfortable section in the neck padding, but something to be aware of if you're pickier than I am!
