The cutters are longer than other sprue cutters. This makes them ideal for removing 3D printing supports. The points are very well made and allow for good control and cuts.

These Army Painter precision side cutters are a great tool for assembling miniatures and hobby models. This is an excellent piece of equipment for those who want a decent set of cutters,nice flat back to the bladed edges so can be used quite near to a delicate piece but you still need care on cutting but these ARE better than the cutters I've been using,so yes I can recommend them just on that premises.

Very high quality 'feel' to the cutters - very comfortable in the hand, too.

Good for some models but they are quite big so can't be used for some awkward sprue locations and not the sharpest either.

I bought these because the brand is well known for model making supplies, having skipped past all the stupidly-named clearly Chinese made up brand names. I bought them to use as side cutters for photo-etched parts which I understood they were good for. After cutting a few parts from a sprue I noticed the cutting edges had notches in them and had begun to wear away, and this was literally in the first hour of use. Within another couple of hours use - and this doesn't mean hours of constant cutting - they had dulled to the point where they didn't cut anything at all, not even cotton thread. Very very disappointed with them and threw them in the bin after ordering a much better from another manufacturer and if anyone is interested they can look at my review history and find them there. I won't name them here.

Ottimo prodotto, acquistato per pulire i residui di resina su vari pezzi e funziona molto bene, il taglio non è proprio a filo, ma per quello che serviva a me è perfetta, piccola e molto comoda da maneggiare. Il materiale mi sembra di ottima fattura.

Pretty good cutters. As always they have their place and some places where different cutters are needed. They can help you trim well.
