I’m quite impressed with these cutting boards. They’re a little heavy (which I like), the plastic seems very durable and well put together, and they don’t slide when cutting. I ordered a giant cutting board in another brand, but I think I may return it and stick with OXO. They’re a little pricy, but they are great quality! A great addition to my kitchen!

After almost two years of owning these cutting boards, I want to share my complete satisfaction with you. I'm a home cook, making 5-7 dinners each week, and these boards are in use every time. I put them through the dishwasher over and over and over and they have retained their flatness and ease of use, with only minor apparent wear. Zero warping, zero discoloration and the small rubber feet are fully intact. The OXO brand has a good reputation, but I wasn't expecting this sort of lasting quality.

I love OXO brand and these don’t disappoint. Bought them to use one surface for meats and another for veggies. Great value and quality.

This is my preferred material for a cutting board, as it cleans up well in the dishwasher. But, as one reviewer said, the surface is very smooth and some foods (e.g., tomatoes, onions) can easily slip out of your grasp when slicing. If your knives aren't very sharp, this will be a problem, because the food will move before the knife cuts into it. Eventually, as these boards become less smooth from use, it won't be as bad, but when new, you have to be real careful. As counterintuitive as it might sound, the sharper your knives, the easier it will be to avoid injury with these board.

Both boards carry the same strengths I’ve come to expect from OXO: clean design, a super serious stable feel, and surfaces that resist scratching better than most. The medium is great for everyday prep, while the smaller one is surprisingly useful for quick tasks when I don’t want to drag out a big board. They rinse clean easily with soap and water (I only handwash), and they don’t bend or flex even after frequent use. The neutral clear/black design is understated but intentional, blending seamlessly into any modern kitchen. Because I liked this two-piece cutting board set so much, I ended up picking up the large board as well. Great compact size fits on my limited kitchen counter. They don't slip and are good in a dishwasher. After a month of use they show no signs of wear.
