I wanted something comfortable, with a good amount of capacity, a laptop sleeve, and that was bright and reflective for when I bike at night. It fits all those criteria quite well. It is a bit smaller than my last backpack, but still can carry a surprising amount of stuff for how small it looks. It has a bunch of pockets to make organizing easy, and the straps are very comfortable, and it sits on my back well. I haven't had it long enough to really make a judgement about durability, but over heavy use for a couple of months it still seems brand new and seems strong, so I'm hoping that continues. If I have one complaint, it's that the shape of the bottom of the bag is tilted towards the wearer's back. This is good for weight distribution when wearing it, but when I take it off, it can't stand up at all and always falls over with the straps facing up.
