The shampoo smells strongly of the peppermint and smells clean although it is quite a strong smell so it might be overpowering in a small enclosed space. It is a lot better smelling than other flea shampoos we have used. It is expensive for dog shampoo but it does work and it was worth it for us and a big positive is that it is a plant based formula and full of natural ingredients. The only negative I have is that my dog is long haired and for some reason after being bathed in this shampoo it made her slightly statically charged where some times when we stroked her we (me and the dog) would both get a static shock but this didn’t last long and went after a couple of days.
