Great USB drives
Speed and ease of use are great. I got these initially to upgrade my computer software with. They work fine. They come pre-formatted in FAT format. If you use them for BIOS upgrade, do not reformat them. Windows wants to offer you to format in NTFS or ExFAT . My PC wanted the original FAT format to do the BIOS upgrade. I just grabbed another one of the drives and all was well. Windows, due to the larger capacity (1218 gb) of these drives, would not format in FAT on these. Hope this helps someone.

Excellent!!!
How does one review a flash drive. Yes it works as it should and easy to use. I was more after cost vs. storage size. I think it's excellent. I presently have 30 high definition movies stored and have not yet covered half of it's capacity. Only a few in 720 and the rest is 1080. Well worth it.

Works Great
This flash drive works great. I’m not sure how many movies I have put on it so far but I put all a lot of Halloween movies on it so I can show them outside to the neighborhood kids while they’re trick-or-treating this year. I replayed the movies after I put them on the flash drive and they’re perfect ..highly recommend.

Be very sure to reformat out of the box.
Works as advertised, but not out of the box. On Windows 10, I could not load more than about eight gigabytes onto it without reformatting. I am torn between 3 and 4 stars, but as the issue was very easy to fix once I figured it out, I see fit to be relatively kind, as the price is outstanding for the storage and speed. Unlike others, my read and write speeds were as advertised *or better.*

Perfect as expected
Over the years, I have had issues with some USB Flash Drives - until I switched to PNY. I have about a dozen of this style PNY drive in different sizes and they all work great and are always detected. I also prefer this retracting kind of mechanism. They are also fairly narrow, so they fit in places where others do not sometimes.

It's handy
pny has always been a good product. I've never had a problem with any of their product. I would definitely order from them if ever they had something that I needed.

Affordable but has slow write performance
Affordable, ** but ** has slow write performance. Copying a 30GB collection of files to this drive (JPG photos and MP4 videos of my family), using a powerful HP Envy laptop (WIndows 10 Pro, 16GB RAM, 11th Gen Intel Core i7 2.8 Ghz) with an SSD (Solid State Drive) C: drive..... I am getting mostly 13MB per second write speed and, on occasion, write speed takes a dive down to 5MB a second then comes back up. You get what you pay for. I got to wondering "What's normal? What's reasonable and customary?" I posed a question to a LLM AI bot - gave it my hardware specs and usage scenario - and asked for a median, expected write speed for a quality USB 3.0 drive on an SS (Super Speed) USB port. Response I was given: "In real-world scenarios, you can expect write speeds for a USB 3.0 pen drive connected to an SS USB port to be in the range of 30 MB/s to 100 MB/s. Smaller files (e.g., documents) tend to transfer faster than larger files (e.g., videos or large software installations)." -------------------------------------- SO....I'm not even getting HALF of the bottom expected speed when I use this PNY drive. Again, you get what you pay for. Caveat: None of my testing has been done with small, i.e. under 100KB Word or Excel or PDF type files. -------------------------------------- Now, I did another test, a READ test: reading from the same the exact same 30GB of JPG (3 to 4 Megabyte 1080p still photos) and MP4 files (mostly 2 - 3 minute 1080P MP4 movies with sound) collection BACK to my SSD drive on the laptop. OUTCOME: I get a 126MB per second READ transfer rate. Consulting an LLM AI, I am told, for this READ usage scenario, I ought to expect the following: Real-World Expectations: "When using an external USB 3.0 pen drive on an SSD port, you’ll likely experience read speeds in the range of 60 to 150 MB/s." SO, the above would seems to imply that the READ performance of this PNY USB drive is above average (i.e. 126MB/sec sustained transfer is above 105MB/s average expected performance USB 3.0 drives in general. Bottom line: YMMV. Time is money, but I bought a lot of these drives at a relatively low price. So, I made a conscious choice to save some bucks. Fortunately I am rarely in that much of a hurry to do large "sneaker net" file transfers - I can go off and eat something or read, etc. Again YMMV. P.S. Yes I know it's a sloppy analysis. Just one voice here. Look at other reviews and form your opinion. TIP: From reviews I have read, and previous ownership, Corsair has been known to make fast performing pen drives, but one has to go the the higher strata of their product line. Again, read reviews, look at tests. Over and out.

Good value
PNY brand has always been dependable and this 128GB thumb drive is a good value at only $15.00, especially with free prime shipping and no sales tax. Very small and compact with an attached sliding protective cap so you don't lose the cap. Very pleased with the purchase and recommend the product and seller.

可動部分が硬い
耐久性や安定性では特に問題はない。しかし、USB先端が本体に隠れる様な可動式となっているが結構出し入れに力が必要であり、この点をを改善できれば言うことはない。

Runs at USB 2.0 speeds
The write speed drops to 2MB/s most of the time only goes above it briefly - much slower than advertised. This is performance I would expect from a much cheaper usb 2.0. A 128GB usb drive writing at such slow speeds is unacceptable. Certainly not worth the price.
