Used for automatic aquarium top up, powering monostable vibrator and relay. Review: Two of these failed within 24 hours under load of only 100-220mA :-( - I bought a single unit initially, which worked fine for about 18 hours, then it started making odd clicking noises, then the output started flickering on and off, then it died completely. I thought that maybe I'd got a duff sample, so, having checked my very minimal circuit over for shorts (none) and checked the power draw using a bench power supply and ammeter, I could see that my circuit was fine and that it was only drawing 100mA during normal running and only about 220mA at peak load, supposedly well within the 600mA capabilities of the device. I also checked for transients on my oscilloscope and there were none. I liked the form factor, and single ones were on three week delivery from desertcart, so I ordered a 3 Pack, which was available next day. The first AC-DC convertor I tried from the new batch lasted only about 6 hours, before failing in the same way as the first one. It used to be powered by a 9v PP3 battery that I would have to replace every 6 months. No More.
