Hi there, i have a 55-gallon tight-head greif water barrel, but i can't remove the two white bung fittings. what tool do i need to remove these?

The budget solution would be ASIN B00LBGPMMI. The lugs on the side of this bucket wrench will fit typical bung fittings. There are also numerous metal wrenches for bung fittings also available on Amazon. Search 'bung wrench'. Hope this helps.

Are there any seams around the barrel to avoid possible splitting and water coming out?

Body is molded as one piece with the top joined/welded at the rim

How do you get the water out of it?

This came quickly, was well packed and just what I wanted. It leaves no flavor or odor to water as promised. It was a good purchase and will buy again.

you can get this for much less, elsewhere. Look around.

The material is as thin as it can be, and still hold water. I am keeping it, but I wish it were sturdier. I paid $100, that is a lot for what I got. Look elsewhere, even if you have to pay shipping, it may cost less Having said that, it is all I need for the purpose (storing 30 gal of drinking water. It is new, ans many other companies may be selling used pickle barrels. Needs airing out, before use, no biggie. Clean with your choice of cleaners listed for the purpose. Regular bleach with no additives works well.
