## Description

Your X-knife is the strongest, sharpest and safest stainless steel knife in production. If your life is in danger, you can always rely on your X-knife. It is designed to withstand all the stresses applied by the human hand, which means that it is virtually indestructible. It assumes, however, that you are careful with the knife and that it is used as intended, namely as a sharp precision tool. A knife of this kind is of course not a throwing knife, nor is it particularly good at splitting wood – for those functions, you’ll find an axe to be both better and cheaper.

Review: This is a strong tool / knife. - I have used several of these knife/tools and have been very pleased with them. I have only used this on the very basic level but it seems to able to do more. I do not chop logs or wood with my knives that are what axes are for, but for skinning hogs the H1 is great. Time will tell, hope this helps you.
Review: Great knife, best effort from Fallkniven - An excellent offering from Fallkniven, probably their best effort. Pictured are some of the fixed blades in my collection, which includes other Fallkniven knives, ESEE, Mora, Bark River, Lionsteel and others. This knife beats them all. The part I believe they nailed best on this knife is the geometry of the blade. The convex grind, the steel used, and the easy re-sharpening of the steel, leads to an incredible knife for any camping, hunting or survival task. The sheath is excellent. It has a very secure locking mechanism and although there are reports of rattling in earlier models, mine had no such issue. I love the handle. I guess there are aftermarket ones but I wouldn't change a thing. For a production run knife, quality control and overall ability to get the job done are at the highest levels. Great job here to Fallkniven.

I have used several of these knife/tools and have been very pleased with them. I have only used this on the very basic level but it seems to able to do more. I do not chop logs or wood with my knives that are what axes are for, but for skinning hogs the H1 is great. Time will tell, hope this helps you.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good knife, hand scales need work.

I really like this blade and the steel. The handle was a let down. I owned the original S1 and the handle was to small for my hand. I purchased S1x because I heard it was better and it was possible to replace hand scales. While driving a stake with the pommel one of the hand scales pealed back. What a let down, I repaired it with super glue. Anyway it’s a good survival knife. Because of the grind it stays sharp enough for finer tasks yet because of the weight it is a great chopper for the size. S1x is in my top 5, though I’ll be looking for after market hand scales.
