Compact and light. I keep the main unit in my pocket when I use it so that I can easily walk around. I usually use it for 30 minutes about 5 days per week. It's a quick set up each morning. I use the Caputron cloth cap to make it easy to find where to put the electrodes on my head or forehead. After 9 months I needed to change the accessories which consists of the cable, electrodes, and sponges. But I would think that that is routine maintenance which would also be needed from all other brands of tdcs devices.

I have been using the device, which I can use without any problems for the first 3 months, for the last 3 months, and now it is completely broken! The device is self-stopping and I cannot start it. Although I follow all the instructions for use, it stops itself as soon as I start it. A product not worth the money given. I am waiting for support and feedback on the subject.

Yo compre el equipo por indicaciones de mi medico, asi que en el dr me coloco el aparato por primera vez, esto fue de gran ayuda porque me ajusto la banda y me indico el lugar y frecuencia que debia usar. Con respecto al ruido y que se apague el aparato me sucedio 2 veces y descubri la razon, esto ocurria cada vez que las almohadilla pierden contacto, ya sea porque tiene poco gel o se seca muy rapido el gel, y pierde contacto, o porque al colocarlo debo asegurar tener apartado el cabello para que el gel y la almohadilla tenga contacto con el cuero cabelludo. Luego de asegurarme esto ya no volvi a tener problema alguno.

This device really alleviated my depression and anxiety! You do have to wet the sponges rather well in saline solution or else you'll get a mild burning sensation. You'll also have to do research online on how to use it since the instruction manual doesn't say much. The device goes up to 2mA which is a safe limit for current.

Works as advertised. I was amazed at the difference in my mental clarity and improved work performance. Noticeable improvements from the first use and every use thereafter. No need for coffee or afternoon breaks. No evening crash. The startup tingle on the skin is mildly annoying but goes away quickly and I forget I'm wearing it. Improves memory, focus, ability to manage complex analyses and multiple-faceted problem solving. I'm recovering from a TBI and this device is a miracle for me.

I used this because of my bipolar disorder and thinking I could cure it with this machine. Instead, I used it once, and felt really funny afterwards. In the preceding months, I began to experience numbness and burning in all different areas of my body. I completely lost any ability to focus. I have huge memory issues now. It has caused me to have to sleep around 16 hours a day. I'm not able to work anymore. The fatigue I have is so intense that I feel like I'm carrying around weights on my back. I am hoping over time my brain will heal from this but I'm just not sure. I'm seeing a neurologist right now to see what can be done to treat it.

I purchased the Caputron E1 on February 12, 2023. I started using it at the end of February. I used it on F3 and F4 as a booster to my weight loss regime. I do believe this device has had a depressive effect on my craving for sweet foods. I say this for this reason. I started taking a GLP-1 class drug at the same time I started using this device. Only I do not have a prescription for the drug. I get it from Mexico. It is a daily dose. I have sometimes had to go up to two weeks without the drug because I couldn't get down to Mexico to resupply. Well, during the times that I was without the drug and I kept using the Caputron daily or every other day, I didn't think about eating sugary foods or high carb foods. But when I had to stop using the device AND I was out of my GLP-1 pharma, the thoughts of high carb foods or sweet foods returned.Why did I have to stop using the device? Now I'm going to get into why I would not recommend THIS device to others even though the effects for me were positive. I had to stop using the device recently because the cable was failing. The failure was manifesting in two ways. The current flow would stop working mid session or/and there would be arcing (Caputron calls this shunting - when electricity jumps from one electrode to another without passing through the head).I contacted customer service at Caputron about this. Here was the response "Ok, based on your explanation (thank you for the detail) it does appear that the cable needs to be replaced. It appears that when the cable is moving it is causing spikes in current and depending on where the electrodes are placed (such as if they are over the occipital nerve) it would cause some white flashes to appear.The cable is not covered by warranty as it is considered a consumable and can generally wear down over time. We do sell replacement cables though: Brain Premier Electrode Lead Cable and we have them in stock."As I stated, I purchased this item on February 12, 2023. I use it in the morning and while using it I walk around with the device in my pocket while doing non rigorous activity such as brushing my teeth, making my bed, reading my morning emails. I do not do activity that has the cable jiggling around a lot. A cable that wears out between February 2023 and July 2023 (when I first starting having problems with the device stopping mid session) is a cable that is poorly manufactured. I ended up purchasing two cables from Caputron for $36.66 with shipping and tax. One to replace the failed cable I have now and a second as a back up.If I had to do it all over again I would still purchase a TCDS device. It really does work for me. But I would not purchase THIS TCDS device because it is not well made.If all you plan to do while this is on your head is sit still in one spot with the device not moving at all, then go for it. If you spend your TCDS zapping time doing any activity at all while holding the device or having it in your pocket, the Caputron may not be the device for you as the cable is so poorly constructed.
