Orbeez - Ultimate Soothing Spa, Pack 1, Foot Spa

I purchased this for my Granddaughter's 6th birthday. She had been asking for this for well over a year. I did research on this item & read all of the reviews. I was amazed at just how many reviews varied from loving it to hating it. I would suggest you read the reviews & all of the answers to the questions asked regarding the Orbeez from the individuals who actually purchased this item. Their information & suggestions gave me the knowledge necessary to form my own list of how to set this up properly, the best way to hydrate & store the beads, & prevent damage to the unit. It also provided me the ability to give my son & daughter-in-law a 'heads-up' on some of the issues they might encounter. (I did not purchase this without their permission.) My granddaughter & her 3 year old sister love it & apparently use it multiple times a week. It was her favorite birthday gift!

My 8 year old daughter absolutely loves it! I did buy extra packages of the water beads & they are kind of a pain to clean up! I over filled it a bit & had to put some in a bucket & still had a few too many in the actual foot spa. They were spilling out onto the floor & the cat was trying to eat them so I was running around trying to make sure to get them all as the rolled all over our wood floor, lol! My daughter's reaction when we had our "spa night" was definitely worth it though! She would use it every night if she could! The only thing I wish it would keep them warm somehow, or that you could keep warm water in it while it's running.

Works as intended & my 7 year old loves it! Comes with 2,000 orbeez, although they did not get as large as I expected, they were big enough for her to enjoy. We did by extra beads from another company to add more, but realized the waterfall does not work as good when there are too many beads so in the video I am pressing down near the pump to move the excess beads and help the waterfall flow better. We ended up having to remove half the beads for it to work the best. Gave 4 stars because the cover is flimsy and doesn’t stay put after it took forever to get it to stay on and keep the pump in the correct position, so we are constantly repositioning it. Overall good product for its intent, we have been able to use the same beads a few times before having to change them.

My granddaughter loves it

Perfect for spa day. My 11 year old daughter enjoyed this. She was not crazy about turning it on to let the orbeez shoot out from the top. She said she wanted to relax for "spa day" with her friend and the machine made a loud noise when turned on because the orbeez are spun from the bottom to the top through this twisty plastic piece. She just enjoyed it off as she relaxed and soaked her feet in the orbeez.

My daughter had this on her Christmas list (she didn't get it) and then it made an appearance again on her birthday wish list. I noticed that Amazon had it listed on sale so I ordered it. The package it came in was nice and easy to wrap for gift giving and the instructions were easy to follow for set up. This worked the way it was intended to and my daughter does like it. The issues I have with it from a mom's perspective, are that the 2 packages of Orbeez that it comes with take at least 4 hours to hydrate. Once they have been hydrated, they are smaller than I thought they would be and if dropped they bounce and go everywhere and are very hard to clean up. We learned this the hard way the first time we used it unfortunately. The Orbeez also crush pretty easily and can become a mess very easily. When running, the motor is also very loud to the point where it was hard for my daughter to hear me when I asked her a question with me sitting less than 10 feet away. I had to repeat myself 4 times before she heard. The only other issue is that once it's been assembled it doesn't fit back into the box and I can't seem to get it back apart easily enough without worrying that I'm going to break it. This isn't a big deal I guess except we like to store things in their original box when not in use with all the directions and little parts so nothing gets misplaced. Like I said, my daughter thinks this foot spa is so cool, my criticism is only from a mom's perspective. I don't think I would consider buying this again unless I was able to get it on sale.

I got this for my niece and she really wanted on for Christmas it’s a great gift and it’s cheaper than target plus it comes with extra beads that the one in target doesn’t. Also it came very fast. I went ahead and put the batteries in it for her and it seems to work great

My 7 year old daughter loves the Orbeez foot spa. She's been smiling and laughing since trying it. And even took a video of herself using it. She says it's so fun and relaxing. The little Orbeez feel funny and slimy, but good. I even managed to fit one foot in. I wonder if the novelty will wear off, but so far this purchase is a big hit!
