A: I really don't know, but it does specifically state it's for SOMFY motorized shades. It works well for mine.

After multiple attempts with NiCads for rechargeables for roller shades that are supposed to recharge from solar blocks, original installer suggested these, which will also recharge from a somfy solar block. They were just installed today. So far, so good. If nothing else, these can be plugged in to an outlet to recharge should that become necessary.
