The Malayala Manorama English Yearbook 2020

Manorama year book is one of most trusted publisher and loaded with most current affairs,GK . ... All gk topics are well covered... Good book to refer all the current affairs of year 2020..But the rate of the book in original is 300/- & in Flipkart it's showing quite reasonable which in actual is not.

Really needed book for upsc prep for current part one year compilation of current affairs in one place ..easy to read as there is aeprate sections.

Just go for it. Same as shown,binding is also in good condition. Purchase in mnth of end of oct or dec to get the latest material otherwise old one are also good to gain knowledge of past events. Another plus point of this book is that it is not usual gk book which will bore you instead it has factual data,interviews,different writer's opinions,past events,basic info of india like culture,past,schemes launched, etc,also very colorful pages full of illustrations which makes it a great read.

For a civil service aspirant this book will be a good buy but for a psc/ssc aspirant this may not be the best one that you are looking for because all the contents are fact based and this book is meant for updating knowledge and not points-based.

Excellent content . I would recommend you to buy it if you are looking for Current Affairs , But it has some cons :- 1. Pages quality not so good 2. Half of the content is only General Knowledge But at such price , it is super amazing. There is one more option for yearbook , purchase Disha yearbook 2020 4th edition and that is magnificent . However this book is also good

After contemplating with multiple yearbooks I decided to settle with infamous Manorama yearbook, which I have an affinity from my childhood. But when it was delivered I was in shock of awe. Book had a bumps in the edges may be during transit. That could at least tolerable. But at the first topic itself, they had a spelling mistake which states "WORD" instead of "WORLD". I didn't expect this from very reputed magazine. I am not sure what other mistakes I am going to find. I started suspecting whether the given content really makes sense.

This book is helpful to those who are preparing for general knowledge section in various competitive exams. It consists of articles, events that happened round the year around the world and even a brief information on geography of India, world etc. Book is very colourful and even those who are not much of book reader would feel like reading. Font size is good enough and printing is perfect.
