Good introduction, but not for certification
This book is a decent introduction to Exchange 2010, but it isn't even close to being sufficient material in preparing for the Exchange certification exams. There might not be a book large enough to fill that role. Microsoft Technet library plus msexchange dot org, together, are a better resource if you are preparing for the exams. The practice test on the disc is ridiculously easy. Don't think that you're ready for the real test even if you ace this practice test.

Very practical book
This book goes in dept into the functionality of Exchange Server 2010. Even without having knowledge this book explains you the basics and how administering is being done with this new version.I can highly recommend this book.Bought it via my kindle and it is very handy to have it digital.

This book was very helpful.
I read the book studied the book, I took the test, I passed it on the first try. The book is worth reading.

Get an editor.
This book is disappointing simply because it has been poorly edited and proofread. There are so many errors the authors have a dedicated web page listing all of the extremely obvious ones reported by readers. It appears they have given up updating it also. Pity they didn't read it themselves before committing it to 'print'. The whole idea of an electronic book like this Kindle edition is it could easily be updated as errata are discovered but, no, nothing has changed in 18 months.Buy as an alternative text only.

Great Reference!
This book helped me out a lot with troubleshooting exchange server 2010 at work. Lots of great references in it as well.

Wow
This is the first review I've ever left on Amazon about a book. For me to do this, the book either has to be the best book I've ever read, or the worst taste of dinousar diarrhea to walk the Earth. Sadly in this case, it's the latter. This book is HORRIBLY inaccurate with spelling mistakes, incorrect information and wrong steps in the exercises. Even the pdf version on the CD has the wrong screenshots! I'm an MCSE, VCP 5.0, MCTS, MCSA, MCP, CCA (Citrix), A+ Hardware Technician and ITIL Foundation 3.0, and this has got to be the worst technical book I have ever read to date.Ironically, they even mention in the book at the beginning that they did not rush this book onto the market because they wanted to thoroughly explore the administration of Exchange 2010. How false that statement is.This book by no means actually goes into any technical depth (like exploring the protocols being used when connecting via Outlook or OWA, or how the actual Autodiscovery process works when opening up Outlook). Instead, it just goes over steps of how to do something with zero explanation of how it works. I'm so annoyed - I bought Sharepoint and SQL books from the same publisher and I'm dreading opening them up in fear they'll be the same garbage.Ugh, steer well away from this "technical" book. Waste of your time.

Exchange Sybex Book
This is a great book about Exchange 2010 and certification exam. Actually I prefer Sybex books rather than Training Kit. I think reading enjoyable. Some exercices are not complete, missing names of server, but the author published a revision of exercices in his website, I recommend that readers get download of this new exercices.

Much better coverage and utility than the MS press book
This book did a much better job of covering the material than the MS press book did. I found the MS book disjointed and less cogent structured. You are better off with this book and keeping the MS book as a reference. If your goal is to get certified get this book first.

Disappointed
I am very disappointed by the book. I am about a quarter of the way through and I have noticed a number of errors of where the instructions are clearly wrong .Some of the command shell execution codes have missing spaces in them stopping the command line from working. There is a digital version of the book but you are unable to copy any of the text from the PDF, if you wanted to copy and paste any of the command lines.

didnt have the updated labmanual
book comes in perfect condition and pretty fast but is missing a big part of the book, the up dated lab manual you will need to do exercises from chapters1-4 then 7-9 very and extremely important if your going to use it for the exercises
