I like to paint the edges of my paintings. It's always a bit of a chore to get the edges on the top and bottom when I'm working on a painting. This gadget attached perfectly and securely to my Mabef easel and it turns my painting around so I can get all the edges. Best part is there is a piece that holds the painting from the back so it's super secure as you move it around. Added bonus is that you only have to secure one side when you're working so you can easily paint 3 sides and most of the 4th side. This gadget will make my life so much easier. One thing I will note is that when it arrived from Amazon, it was not assembled as you'd use it but based on the instructions and drawings, I just had to unscrew the easy to use wing nuts and put the sliding pieces on the front instead of the back. Everything shipped to me in perfect condition and all the parts were received in the box. Last, The wonderful spring clamp they use in the back of the device may make this work with other brands of easels but you'd have to try it on yours to see. I absolutely love it!

You need to buy an easel to accommodate, doesn’t fit all easels!

The two arms on this thing are exceedingly long. I have an l shaped desk and it was getting in the way of rotation so I cut off the ends a bit. Then fashioned an even shorter one with square dowels. I did find that the clamps were difficult to work with so I used c clamps instead. I attached it it an h frame desktop easel and put blocks on the end to counter balance it. Works well.

Best piece of equipment I think I have ever bought...well worth the money...if you have the right easel, of course. I only wish that I had the chance to buy this yrs ago. If you paint a lot of things off-vertical, this easel is a must. I could not be more pleased!

Well, my Third Mabef product. Each has had inconvenient issues (chipped wood on one easel, missing hardware on the second , $550 each) but, obviously I must over look the minor issues; I go back and buy more. This Revolving easel arrived not working. I had to completely disassemble it, pry loose a part, sand that part and reassemble it.I have the ability to fix this new item, you might not. Mabef does use some really nice wood and their figment is top self when it works.Sturdiness 4 after person fixing before use.Value for money 4 take out for my repair skills

It was a bit fiddly and took me a couple tries to get it installed on my Mabef easel, but now that it’s on there, I love it! It also takes a bit of muscle to turn it - there’s no adjustment that I can find for this - but I think that after repeated use it’ll loosen up a bit, or my muscles will just get a bit stronger (LOL).

It is easy to install.
