There is Power in Personal Accountability - Don't Wait to Unleash Yours!
I enjoyed the quick read, and I know some people might think it is common sense, I don’t disagree. Yet we still live in a world where people chose not to take ownership and play the blame game. This book is a great reminder that I need, because sometimes I fall into the trap Flipping the Switch Flipping the Switch: Unleash the Power of Personal Accountability Using the QBQ! reinforced my learning from the QBQ book I recently read. Personal accountability is an area I want to focus on in 2018; however this book is helping me focus on it now. If you are looking for a great stocking stuffer or gift for the teacher this holiday season, this book is a good one. Thank you John G. Miller for writing this easy and enjoyable read and for providing me a resource to help me further develop into the personally accountable person I desire to be.

QBQ Part II.
FLIPPING THE SWITCH is really a continuation of John Miller's first book, "QBQ: The Question Before the Question", and you will certainly want to read QBQ first to get the full impact out of this one. QBQ is for everyone, whereas this book, although everyone would benefit from it, is more geared towards the team leader. The advice is simply put. For instance, your questions should begin with "what" or "how", not "who", "when" or "why". Of course there are always exceptions to that, but just the simple premise of it will take you along way towards asking better questions. Another simple example that carries a lot of traction is for leaders to ask themselves each day, "What can I do today to develop my people?" This book discusses five advantage principles; learning * ownership * creativity * service & trust. Ready to use information on each advantage principle is covered. Like QBQ, Flipping the Switch is simply written and can be read in a day or two with long term benefits. You definately want to read this one, but you want to read QBQ first.

Your Keys to Positive Leadership
As others have already have said, this book is a perfect compliment to QBQ!. I have purchased 2 copies for a leadership library I am starting at my place of employment. I originally read a copy of this book that I got from my public library. It was a very quick read, but the time it took me to read the book, I was able to take a look inside and help me help myself, which is one of the purposes of the "Question Behind the Question." As I read this book the second time, I immediately got an answer to something I was complaining about in my job as a phone customer service rep and cannot wait to share my insights on it with my supervisor. You have to read these books several times in order for all the ideas John Miller conveys to enter our brains. In our careers, the incorrect question is "Why can't I get my dream job?" when the Question Behind the Question should be, "What can I do in order to make myself the dream employee?" John G. Miller tells us that we cannot reap the benefits of lights without flipping the switch to let the electricity flow to the bulbs. He uses this illustration to let us know that we cannot reap the benefits of the QBQ without "Flipping the Switch" and letting their effects flow into our lives to make us better employees, family members, friends, and generally better overall people. When you ask the incorrect questions, you exhibit negative leadership. Asking the QBQ helps you demonstrate positive leadership. You make things better for you and those around you. If you look at your life as in disgust And you feel your career is a bust Take a look deep inside Where your good points may hide Flipping the Switch is a source you can trust

Helps you to APPLY what you learn
I think the book is so great that I purchased several copies for my employees to help them see what I saw...personal responsibility starts with ME! This books teaches you how to practically apply "giving" and "serving." It's about ME. I also think our politicians should read this book to learn what REAL personal responsibility is so that they can stop blaming the government for not doing enough. I'm responsible. It's about me. I change! It's not about them. It's MY life and I can change. Also, I wrote the author and suggested that his book seemed to have plenty of Biblical principles in it. He wrote me back and gave me the 10 Scriptures that the book was based upon.

Quick Read. Not your typical self-help book. Everyone should read this and the QBQ.
Not sure how common sense strategies, get lost in the day to day. But this book helps put "verbs" into your sentences. I have a family member that hates to read anything, and I encouraged her to read this book because it is a quick read. She not only finished this book with some motivation..but wanted to read the QBQ next (due to the references in the book) -- good thing I had QBQ on hand =)

It is about how to sell another book which content is based on a very successful previous book (QBQ). The content is interesting, but it is enough to read QBQ.
