Were any turkeys hurt in the gathering of the feathers you use? Are the feathers picked off living turkeys?

All feathers used in our Smudge Kit were naturally shed from living turkeys. None of the feathers were plucked off the turkeys

Why doesn't my sage turn on?

Im not sure what you mean by " turn on" but to LIGHT THE SAGE. Hold the sage at a 45 degree angle and let it burn for about 20 seconds. then gently blow it out and let it smoke. You can gently fan the smoke with your hand or a feather

Was the sage sustainably sourced?

Yes this product was what I was looking for.

Will it help with nightmares

For me, smudging with white sage, or palo santo sticks helps to remove negative energy from my person or from a room. I can't guarantee that smudging will work to eliminate your night mares. If negative energy where you sleep is causing nightmares then maybe smudging is worth a try.
