I love this ube flavoring. The color is very bright— I will warn you it stains when directly touched out of the container— but I’ve baked cookies with it and made cold foams for iced lattes.. once mixed into another ingredient it does fine and won’t stain.. the container may be small but it’s very concentrated so a little goes a long way.. I love the flavor of this and it’s well worth the money.

It tastes great and is a welcome addition to a variety of warm or iced drinks. For timers: ube concentrates stain like you wouldn’t believe, and this is no exception. Be mindful of that when working with this product.

I got this brand because several articles and recipes said this was the best tasting one. It does taste good and is priced right. However, I learned very quickly that the extract will stain fingers and dish towels. I was very disappointed to look at the ingredient label and see this doesn't contain any actual ube, but "artificial sweet potato flavor" instead.

Made an Ube roll cake and fudged the measurements a bit. I ended up with 4 cakes when originally I was just making 1. This stuff worked WONDERS. All the ladies at work loved it and my family thought that the cake tasted excellent. I have been asked to make more so I will defiantly keep using this product.

First off, the bottle is secured weird and there are no instructions on how to open it. I was tired and just wanted to try it so I cut the top of with scissors and I screamed as the liquid came squirting out, all over my counter, my floor and my hands.. the stuff is very dark and does not wipe off readily. I hope it comes out cause it stained everything!! The consistency reminds me of hair dye.. I tasted a small drop and found it revolting. There is an eventual aftertaste of ube but the initial flavor is unbearable and tastes chemical.. I know ube is supposed to be bitter but this doesn't taste right..I hope I can get my money back and the stains out...

No questions asked, purchase it! I was looking for Ube flavoring since it’s my favorite in any dessert or latte. I purchase these lattes for about the same price as the flavoring. This little bottle will last forever. I used about 10 drops for my latte and it’s exactly like the cafe I frequently visit. It is very concentrated and even the purple color showed up in my drink after adding my black coffee. I’m excited to try it in my ube brownies and any other recipes. It does stain and the bottle is very difficult to open. It spilled on my floor and almost took 30 mins of scrubbing to get out. Other than that, I love it

So the color and initial flavor are good but it has a lot of artificial ingredients and definitely has an aftertaste (especially if you use in frosting). I thought this was just ube extract but it has a lot of food dyes in it. I think I may be sensitive to the preservatives or the food dyes in this extract since everytime I eat the frosting I made with it, I get a headache. I think I'll look for a more natural ube extract next time.
