The best protein shake
This is one of my favorite drinks now we drink this every day for breakfast. It has low carbs. It has protein in it so it fills you up so you don’t need to eat you don’t need to eat any food because it’s already got the vitamins and the best thing about it is is great if you trying to keep your carbs down and it is a great flavor and I love the variety of flavors they offer. This is one of my favorites because you can’t actually add real espresso or coffee into it if you want if you like now the great thing about it is it. It’s a lot of different like sizes, but here’s the thing it felt like they changed the amount that they give you because before it was a little bit more so I would say to get the shorter bottles that’s wider than get the tall ones but either way it’s a great product they it seems like they’ve kept the quality up as well so I think it’s pretty good and I love the texture of it. The drink is not heavy. It’s very light and it’s it’s good on the pallet so I will say it’s a good product and if you don’t wanna drink no sugar and you need something that feels you up during a workout or for a meal replacement is a great tool. Also late at night if you get really hungry and you don’t wanna eat nothing drink this protein shake, and it will help you go to sleep so I will say it’s a great thing to eat if you don’t want to eat a large meal.

I am very satisfied. UPDATES!
[BEFORE SHAKING, clean any "slime" from inside the neck and cap..*] [UPDATE: Costs. 03/17/25 I agree these are expensive, but so are most others. My cost when I started 3+ yrs ago was about $24/12, now it is $32/12. I have noticed varying prices, but I did discover the paper cartons are cheaper. I opted for one that said $23+/-... it ended being $25, but it's still a savings.] * * * I am an elderly woman who is suffering from kidney and heart issues. I don't have much appetite, so also losing muscle like crazy. I am looking like all those other wrinkly, skinny old people I said I wouldn't. So my doctor said high protein shakes. Okay. I started researching. Because of price and ratings I started with a couple 4-pks of Premier from a local grocery outlet. Cafe latte... Yum! Then I went to Amazon to get regular deliveries because I no longer drive. Read lots of reviews. I noticed some mentions of outlets besides Amazon. I also noticed a link to 'Premier Store'. Given the bad reviews re slime and expiration dates, I carefully made sure I wasn't ordering through an outside source. Don't know if that actually helped, but I have had very few of those issues in the past 3+ years. **Although, to make sure on the slime, I open a bottle before shaking and check inside the neck and cap, to wipe out if needed. Then re-cap and shake, shake, shake. One could also pour through a fine/tea strainer.** Besides Cafe Latte, I have tasted Peaches and Cream, Vanilla, and Strawberries and Cream. None of these are strong flavored, but I can taste the chocolate and coffee in my favorite. The Vanilla is refreshing, as is the Peaches and Cream (which has a delicate peach flavor). The Strawberries and Cream is cooling and not untasty, just not much flavor. And I have added Bananas and Cream, which is also nice but mild. One more issue: digestion. Some people's innards don't like the soy and/or the lactose. Others are more forgiving. I get some bloat but the benefit I receive outweighs any mild discomfort. Just because some people can't tolerate this product doesn't mean it's bad. My last note...lead. Lead is bad. But I have been around lead for many decades, from leaded gasoline polluting roadside blackberries (oh, no!) to lead in paint for all kinds of things. It hasn't had much impact on me (that I know of) and I am not giving these to anyone else, so, in the meantime, whatever life I have left will not be spent worrying about it. Granted, you younger people and children do need to be cautious. Ain't it fun? UPDATE: 23 Oct 2023 1. To start, the shakes I get are shipped in thick, heavy-duty boxes in which the bottles are closely and firmly packed and the company name and other pertinent info is printed on the outside. If yours isn't it is likely from an outside vendor, with issues such as expiry dates and improper storage, not to mention higher prices. 2. Regarding the slime and stomach issues, they appear to be caused by the same "problem"--- the protein. While some flavors have two types of condensed (is that the word I want?) milk proteins combined, many also have soy. The proteins sometimes separate a bit causing the slime. My suggestion above still holds. And, I'm sorry to say, the stomach issues are also caused by the milk proteins and lactose. Over 60% of Americans suffer from some level of lactose intolerance (not allergy); an individual's level of intolerance will determine how bad you feel. Oh swell! Finally, recycling the bottles: Rinse and zip off the cover which is discarded. Done. BUT if you live in either Oregon (me) or Maine you have the option to redeem the bottles for 10 cents or 5 cents, respectively, if the portion of the cover stating so is still attached. Granted it's not a lot, but it builds....the choice is yours. ( I am drinking 2-3 daily, so I am donating my $$ to our residential park's FEMA -sponsered CERT program to buy disaster supplies. [Oregon is in the middle of the Cascadia Subduction Zone --northern CA to Vancouver Island BC-- inevitable massive (9+/-) off shore earthquake. When, not if.]), Now I'm done! Have a healthy life.

Great Flavor, High Protein, and No Added Sugar
The Café Latte flavor from Premier Protein is easily one of the best “coffee‑style” protein shakes out there. It tastes like a lightly sweetened iced latte—smooth, creamy, and without that chalky aftertaste so many protein drinks have. It’s satisfying on its own, but it also works perfectly as a quick protein coffee when poured over ice. With 30g of protein and no added sugar, it keeps you full for hours without feeling heavy. The added vitamins and minerals give it a nice nutritional boost, making it a great grab‑and‑go option for busy mornings, workouts, or long days when you need something quick but substantial. The texture is consistently creamy, the bottles travel well, and the flavor stays enjoyable from the first sip to the last. If you love coffee and want a protein shake that actually tastes good, this Café Latte flavor is an easy favorite.

Whey Too Much Energy, But in a Good Way? :D
Somewhere between a gym rat's dream and a caffeine addict’s backup plan lives this protein shake. It's got the muscle-building power of 30 grams of protein and just enough café latte flavor to trick your brain into thinking you're being fancy. The taste is surprisingly smooth, less like punishment and more like dessert with an agenda. And yes, it does taste like coffee... in that “just got it from a vending machine and it’s oddly satisfying” kind of way. Cafe Latte and Chocolate are my two favorites without a doubt! :D This shake does the job if the job is protein delivery with a caffeine-fueled slap to the face. The 120mg of caffeine definitely makes mornings more tolerable—or more chaotic, depending on your threshold for heart palpitations. It’s shelf-stable, which is code for “lives in your desk drawer until it’s an emergency breakfast.” Pop it in the fridge overnight and it turns into a glorified iced coffee with protein dreams. The bottle is sturdy, spill-resistant, and easy to chuck in a gym bag or toss at a roommate who "forgot" to buy groceries. No blending, no mess, no excuses. Just open, chug, and pretend your life is together. But let’s be honest, no one drinks protein shakes for fun. We drink them because we fear aging and our metabolism has retired. The ingredients are balanced, but can lead to jitters for some, but have no doubt about how effective the formula is.... It can pump you up! As for the downsides? The artificial sweetener leaves a bit of an aftertaste, like a diet soda that studied abroad in Wheyland. And while the caffeine is great in theory, stacking one of these on top of your regular espresso routine might send your eyeballs into orbit. Not a full meal, but a good snack or meal accessory. Still, for convenience, taste, and that sweet, sweet 30g hit, it earns a solid spot in the rotation. :D 👍 Good Things: High protein without tasting like gym socks Tastes like coffee and slightly like ambition Sturdy, portable design Shelf-stable and no prep needed 👎 Bad Things: Artificial sweetener flavor overstays its welcome Not a real meal replacement on its own Caffeine plus coffee equals possible internal tremors Might be pricey if you develop a daily habit

Shake these as much as you can before drinking
This is one of my favorite flavors of Premier. The macros on it are great, doesn't upset my stomach at all, and has that little caffeine kick. The only thing is, because it is in a plastic bottle, there can sometimes be consistency issues with the beverage. Like a lot of people have reported under this and other flavors, there is a stringy-like thing sometimes that's ran into while drinking this, and I've experienced it as well. That's normal, it doesn't mean there's something wrong with it, its just from the drink settling at the top of the bottle after its been bottled. The texture of it is like gelatin, I've consumed it without any issues. Most of the time it will dissolve into the drink if you drink around it, and then shake the bottle up some more to allow it some help to break up. These last a long time as well. They do have a BBD on them, but I like to stock up and sometimes overstock up, so I still drink them a couple months past their BBD and have zero issues with taste, consistency, no adverse issues, they're stored in a cool dry place so I think that has helped to make the products last longer for me.

Smooth, Great Taste & Perfect Morning Protein Boost
I drink one of these every day to help me reach my protein goals and get a little caffeine boost for work and school. It’s smooth with no chunks, and it tastes like a sweet, creamy coffee you’d get at a café. I recently started adding chocolate caramel syrup and a little whipped cream to make it feel extra cute — it honestly feels like a treat instead of a “protein shake.” I’m currently on a weight loss journey and have lost 120 lbs, and protein shakes like this have really helped with satiety and steady energy. Having something easy, consistent, and high in protein makes staying on track feel manageable. I’ll definitely keep purchasing - there’s a bigger discount if you buy more than one pack, which makes it worth it for me. I’ve even sent this to friends because I genuinely appreciate it and want the people I love to feel supported in their health goals too.

Delicious, convenient, and healthy
This makes for a great breakfast! The 30 grams of protein gives me a great start to the target of 90 grams that I need to consume for my semiglutide program. I love the coffee flavor. My friend dropped by when I was drinking the last one I had on hand and was interested in it as she loves coffee. I just gave her two bottles from the delivery I just received, so I will update my comments after I get her opinion. BTW, the price is quite reasonable for a complete breakfast that includes so many vitamins and minerals.

Deliciousness with nutrients
I have been buying these for about 3 years. I started when I had a gastric ulcer and weight loss, and I needed to add extra calories and nutrients to my diet. It was easy on my stomach and I could drink it with my morning meds. At this point, I just buy them because I love the taste and the extra shot of caffeine in the morning for breakfast. They are smooth ang go down easily. They come in an extremely sturdy box. Almost too sturdy, as I have to pry the glued top open. I am just about addicted to these but I can't stop buying them.
