I had this radio installed because even though I have done installs in the past, I just didn't feel like installing another. Once installed, I can say this is a great car stereo. It replaced a Jensen CDX3119 that I've had for about four or five years, and this Pioneer is much better. It has a Base button, but I don't find I always need the extra base. It sounds quite great without it at times. I'm quite happy with this car stereo and I recommend it. It looks great in my car, and I hope it lasts a long time. I may get the extended warranty and I may not. Just not sure but this stereo is a Two Thumbs Up!

Replaced my old Pioneer CD receiver with wired 1st gen ipod control. Old ipod will not sync anymore. Wanted BT streaming and hands free phone. Seemed to fit the bill. Was initially bummed about loosing the credit card size wireless remote control for a buggy app that has nothing that I want or need. I grabbed the old Pioneer remote from the center console and it works with the new unit! Very happy! No mention of this in any documents. Do not think Pioneer sells anymore. But replacements are available with some looking.

This was to replace an older version Pioneer, where I couldn't find the removable face plate... OMG.. I can't believe the quality, the bells and whistles!!! It turns my 2001 expedition which has ZERO tech into A built in handsfree Car phone badass, Navigation though system, AMAZING for the price especially!!!

Très bon autoradio ! Pour comparaison, j'avais acheté un autre à moitié prix, mais sans CD, j'ai déjà dû refaire le câblage dû au fait qu'il avait 2 connecteurs au lieu de 1 seul, pour me rendre compte que le panneau frontal ne fonctionnait pas et que la qualité sonore n'était pas au rendez-vous du tout, et lors d'un changement de poste radio il fallait attendre un bon 4-5 secondes avant que le son n'arrive ... hyper décu. J'ai ensuite commande le Pioneer, vraiment un autre monde, j'en suis enchanté. Je l'ai installé dans le bateau, la qualité sonore est impeccable, pas de "lag" lors de changement de poste, pas de télécommande mais une app sur téléphone très bien faite donc mon téléphone sert de télécommande au besoin (avec plus de fonctions qu'une télécommande), la fonction téléphonique très bonne, le petit micro déporté c'est super. Bref .. enchanté de cet autoradio, vraiment ! Je le recommande fortement, pour un prix très accessible quand même. Super qualité / prix.

Easy to hook up and works better than the old sound system

Don’t know why they don’t include an operation manual with this. Have had this for a week now I am still searching around to change the sound and took me a couple hours just to sync my phone to it. Charge $5.00 more and include an easy to understand manual.
