This gets difficult, finding one in a color I like but also great quality. Asics is generally a go to because of this and this is one of my favorite colors. I am so happy they fit and are comfy! They have removable inserts so I can put in my custom ones and are very supportive. I don't like to spend much for any shoe, but it's important to me to get the right shoe for walking/jogging, and for overpronation. (I did some research, and supposedly these are great for that- my worst pain is around the joint of the big toes). The color is great, it's well cushioned.. they're pretty narrow, though. As well, I would have preferred they have the loop on the back of the heel, to help with pulling them on and off. (Just my personal preference).I typically wear an 8-8.5 in "every day" shoes, so my last pair of running shoes, I bought an 8.5. I had what I initially thought was plenty of toe room, but it was a smidge on the narrow side, and sometimes my toes would start tingling or go numb. I have switched shoe brands by buying this ASICS. After reading the reviews, I decided I could easily go up to a 9. In fact, the 9 in this shoe is just as narrow (if not even more so) than the 8.5 in the other brand. There is plenty of room for my toes, but because it is a 9, I feel like the padding under the metatarsal bones is not quite in the right place. I've been breaking my shoes in with several 5K walks, and near the last mile and a half, I start getting a deep ache in between the middle toes.
