Mercer Culinary M19903 Millennia Black Handle, 3-Inch Slim Serrated Paring Knives (3-Pack), Paring Knife

Originally I bought these for my mom. They are nice and sharp. They have held up well. So well that she bought me a set! It’s really the perfect size for an all purpose kitchen knife.

I own the large version. It's such a great knife ( highly recommend) that I looked into a small one. They are great for smaller jobs. Sharp blades, great serrations. Love these, and a great value too. Win, win

I don't use a peeler on potatoes and needed a new paper. These are a little too sharp for the job so I use them to cut other things. Nice knives

I have a great set of knives, I also have some individual high-end knives, and then I had (PAST TENSE) a whole drawer of "junk knives". After buying this serrated knife, I got rid of MOST of my cheaper knives, since this knife serves SO many purposes for me in the kitchen. I went back and bought the set of 3, and am loving these for everyday chores that don't warrant getting out "the good knives". I have arthritis, and my hands have trouble holding onto other knife handles, and these work wonderfully. The slip-free design provides a confidant cut.

I was disappointed to find these knives were poor at paring, compared to the Victorinox knives I own. On jobs like peeling apples, they drag. They are otherwise well made, and certainly are useful for cutting in other situations. The only difference I can detect is that the Victorinox knives at 40% narrower at the serrations than the Mercer knives.

I CAN'T COUNT THE NUMBER OF THESE KNIVES I HAVE BOUGHT THESE KNIVES BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN SO SATISFIED WITH THEM. IVE GIVEN MANY TO RELATIVES WHO LOVE THEM TOO.

Good quality and has lasted at least a few months without needing to be sharpened

Just received these today and I noticed that the blade and overall length are a bit longer than stated in the description (October 2023). To confirm, the blade is 8.5cm/3.35" long along the longer edge (it's the serrations that are the stated 7.6cm/3"). The overall length of the knife is 19cm/7.5". The quality seems fine and the blades come nice and sharp.
