This play mat was fantastic when my kids were little! The bright colors made the playroom cheerful and inviting, and the soft, cushioned foam gave me peace of mind knowing they could crawl, tumble, and play safely. The tiles fit together easily, stayed put, and were simple to clean or rearrange — my kids loved making paths and patterns just like in the picture. Such a great buy — durable, fun, and one of the best early childhood products I ever purchased! 🌈👏

So far, so good! We haven't had these for very long, so I will update if durability becomes an issue. But they are just what I was expecting from a foam mat. The pieces fit together perfectly, and the colors are bright without being gaudy. The main issue I have is that the edge pieces are random colors, mostly blue and green with one set of orange, one set of yellow, and one set of purple. However, it still looks fine, so I'm not taking away any stars for that even though my preference would have been to have at least one set of edge pieces for every color. But that's really just personal preference! This mat is very big for the price too (I believe I bought this for about 30 bucks)! So many other brands give you half the size for more money. I am putting a picture of how I have it set up, but there are even 3 color squares (12 total small squares) not included because I only have a pretty small space to work with until we get our playroom set up.

We bought this mat to put on the hardwood floor of our 9 month old son's room so he would have a comfortable place to play and it would be more padded as a landing spot as he is learning to crawl and walk. Overall, we were very happy with the mat and I'm considering buying another to expand the floor space the mat covers as he gets more curious and mobile. The things I like about the mat - 1.) It's fun and brightly colored and captures his attention as he studies it as he's playing on the floor; and it looks cute for a kids play area. 2.) It has edge pieces that surround the perimeter of the mat to give a more finished look. 3.) It's configurable in any way you want so you can design it in different patterns. Also, the edge pieces will go on any side so you're not constrained at all in the layout. 4.) It's relatively comfortable to sit and play on; we have it on a hardwood floor and as an adult I can crawl around on my hands and knees and it doesn't hurt. 5.) It's a good size and a good price; for about $30 you have a place that covers about 6 x 6 which is much cheaper than an area rug and can be easily wiped clean versus carpeting (which is important with little kids!) The two things that I "dislike" are: 1.) The edge pieces are too easy to get off, and my son is obsessed with pulling them off and chewing on them. I think if they were wider it would be harder for little hands to easily grab and pull off. 2.) I wish the mat were a little thicker. While it's fine to sit and play on or crawl around, I think if it were an 1/8 of an inch or 1/4 inch thicker it would be much more comfortable for a longer period of time. It seems to be pretty durable; though we've only had it for about 2 months now so I can't say for sure.

We are really pleased with the multicolored puzzle play mat. It has been in constant use for the past four months and has held up very well. We have one primary play area that is comprised of eighteen (three by six) squares. This provides amble space for racing cars, making block towers, or playing stand (or hop) on a specific color. The remaining squares are usually in cubes, which can be stacked, beat as a drum, or used in countless other imaginative ways. One side of the cube can be removed to create a box to fill with toys. The twenty month old also likes to assemble mini-mats for which he has specific play ideas. The squares are quick to clean and quick to take apart to store. Great product.

I LOVE this mat! I was worried about the pieces locking into place properly, because I know that is a common problem with these puzzle mats, but these locked perfectly. My (very mobile) seven month old has not been able to pull them apart so far. This mat is BIG as well. It covers a large portion of the floor in our playroom, but is pretty easy to remove some squares and move to our much smaller living room. We have even used it on our back patio to keep our little one off of the hard cement (Only in the evening though, we live down south so I was worried the foam might melt in the heat of the afternoon? Anyone tried this?) The foam is about a 1/2" thick and is textured so my son can easily crawl around on it. Not sure how this mat does on carpet, but it is an excellent solution to our hardwood floors. Also, I am very pleased with the colors. They are fun and bright, but not NEON so I don't mind having it out in my living room on occasion. My only complaint is that the squares come in nine different colors but I only got 4 colors for the edge pieces and I would prefer if the edges came in all 9 colors, as well. All in all, I am extremely pleased with this floor mat!

Cat claws tear into the foam of this mat very easily, something that I kind of expected, but what I didn't expect was for cat claws to get STUCK in the foam. The first night I had it set up, I saw gouges all over the foam, little bloody paw prints all over the floor and mat, and one of my cats had a torn claw (which has taken weeks to heal). Granted, the cat in question is kind of a spaz, but nothing like this has ever happened before. I also noticed that every time my 20 month old walked on the mat she seemed to lose her balance a little. She's been walking since 9 months and is a very confident walker. A few days after it had been set up, I moved the mat to sweep and realized that the hardwood floor underneath was slightly slick, as if the mat had been extruding its own grease. No wonder she was sliding around! After that I packed it up to return and mopped up the mystery grease off the floor. This mat might be okay on carpet in a home with no cats, but I would absolutely not recommend it otherwise.

I was disappointed when I received these because the colors weren't exactly the same as the picture. They had pink tiles instrad of the pea green pictured. Also, there are only edge tiles for some colors, so if you want edges, you're limited as to how you can arrange the tiles (and you can't have the arrangement pictured). That having been said, my baby does like playing on the tiles, and they're easier on my knees than our hardwoods.

I have ordered two sets of these they are supper great quality i have them outside on our screen room and i use it as area for our daughters small trampoline and slide and her outdoor toys to play on we also have two dogs and through the weather rain they get damp they are amazing! Super easy to wipe clean they are thick enough when she slides down the slide they protect her! We love love love them!!! UPDATE: 6-10-16 We have had these for a quite a while now and i have to say these have held up pretty darn well! Some of the color is not as bright and clean but what can i say they have been outside on a screen room floor with three dogs and a toddler and they are still holding strong!! they are easily cleaner i usually just sweep them off and mop over them the perfect protection for a little one!! very satified!

The lead time is high, but its worth the wait. Liked it.
