Maglite MAG-TAC 2-Cell CR123 LED Tactical Flashlight – High Lumen, Water-Resistant, QuickClick Modes Crowned Bezel – Black

This is exactly what you'd expect. Its a solid little flashlight, great for one handed use while holding a pistol in the other, as in a home defense scenario. Its not weirdly bright with 8000 lumens or whatever but its definitely blindingly bright if shined in the eyes, and will illuminate an entire room quite adequately. This is a mostly US made item from a quality US company at a relatively affordable price. Similarly specced flashlights made in the US are quite a bit more expensive, though I dont have enough experience with surefire and the like to know if theyre worth the high price they command. The light is intuitive to use and ergonomic to hold. Comes with a kind of cheap plastic pants clip but it does what its intended to do, and is sturdy. It just seems cheap because its plastic but that's just an antiquated notion of quality, half the time modern polymers are just as if not more durable than metal, while simultaneously saving weight (just look at what glock did with polymer framed handguns). Bottom line, this is a great purchase.

i have always had mag lites because of the quality and how rugged they are. with me they have to be. with all the other tac lights on the market i wondered why mag lite did not have one. well that is because they took their time to get it right. this is the best one out there and well worth the price that is much cheaper than ones that do not perform anywhere close to this one. the crowned bezel will also work for defense, as does the 12Hz strobe feature as i have tried it on my friends. i know my bad but it made them sick and when i turned it off they could not see for a few seconds. that is because this light is extremly bright. it is brighter than my mag lite 3d cell led light with a large center beam but an larger and bright outer beam that covers a good distance to the sides. this is one sturdy and quality tac light and you money will be well spent. the matte finish is also a plus.

Very good tactical flashlight. Only downside is it's a bit big for an actual EDC.

Great led flashlight, Its brighter than the(halogen) high beams on my truck. It's small light weight in between a C cell and Double A Flashlight and just over 5 inches long. The clip is sturdy with a hole large enough to put a para cord lanyard through snugly. it does warm up a little after about 5 min continual use but is no different after 30 min use. I'm not sure about battery life yet, i have had it for 2 days now with moderate use and there is no difference in intensity or throw so far.I have it on my wish list to purchase a couple more for my home car because this one is staying in my pocket. Best description "it is a pocket spot light".

I bought a couple of this to take it to a camping trip. I have a regular 3-cell Maglite but i wanted to have a "back up" flashlight. It turned out to be my primary flashlight. 320 lumens are much more than enough to illuminate the dark woods. . It is small enough (about the size of an iPhone 4) and very light. The holding clip definitely helps if you are wearing pants/shorts with no pockets. It includes a couple of Lithium batteries and they seem to last for a while. There is a similar model that does not have the Scalloped Head and the difference is this: Scalloped head allows you to place the flashlight on a table or surface and provide some light, like a candle. The other model (without the Scalloped Head) will "choke the light if placed on a flat surface. I have also found some adaptors that would allow you to place this flashlight on a rifle or shotgun. I am definitely very happy with this flashlight.

I love Maglite flashlights, this one really kicks butt. I gave one to my wife to carry with her, it doubles as a defense device and could do a number on a perpetrators face if necessary. Very bright also!

People think I am joking when I say if you don't know what to get your husband or father for a birthday/Christmas then get him this flashlight. (to be honest any MagLite is a great gift but this one is special!) The power of the light is phenomenal, 320 lumens has such a bright and effective range it is hard to believe so much light comes from such a small thing. It is approximately 5 inchs long, uses LED, and has a great rugged anodized build which comes in black, grey, red and possibly other colors. I have 2 of these (I just seriously think they are brilliant) a grey and a black and could not say which I prefer. I also like the on off switch being on the base, which for me is just a great natural place and so good design. We have also given these as gifts to both my wife's and my father who were equally as happy with them as I was (much to my wife's surprise). I think it is hard for someone to be displeased with a product that excels and surprises. Admittedly this is on the expensive side for a flashlight and for a Maglite, but don't be fooled by thinking it is like every other flashlight as it just is not. One thing to note - it is so very bright that for close up lighting (say if you wanted to look at a splinter in your finger) it is so bright it almost makes it hard to see, so you have to point it slightly to one side so to reduce the amount of direct light be shone on the thing you are looking at. Interesting situation to have, and not a normal one, but one I thought I would mention. For every other type of daily use or for when you just want a super bright flashlight, it is perfect.

I was shopping around for lights to mount on my Remington 870 and Colt 6920. I love the Surefire lights, but I just can't justify spending $400 on a flashlight. This flashlight is awesome and is made in the USA as well. It is bright, built very well, and has a great strobe function. It is the perfect balance of price and high quality. As far as using the light for a weapon application, please make sure to get a mount wide enough to accommodate the light. This light is a little larger around than the standard 1" mounts. J'utilise cette lampe pour sortir de mon garage et je l'emmène avec moi en voyage également (car elle est compacte). J'apprécie sa solidité, son côté pratique et sa puissance d'éclairage. Bien qu'un peu cher, après avoir essayé cette marque, on a du mal à repasser à autre chose.

Good quality, very bright and good distance. it only has the three settings but that is all I wanted.

Direi Ottima. Non la uso a scopo tattico, ma per un discorso fatto di comodità e ricambi garantiti nel tempo(led di ricambio e altri componenti). Leggera e dal fascio luminoso notevole con clip in plastica per il taschino del giacchetto o pantalone. Soddisfatto :)

Easy to operate, feels great in your hand, very rugged, beam focus is fantastic. Much brighter than even the 2D or 3D. You could easily disorient someone with this, especially on the strobe mode. It's also small enough to be placed into an everyday bike light mount. The clip included if made of a reinforced plastic and is fairly bendable but I can assure you than it won't break any time soon. The batteries for this are pretty expensive and they don't last all that long. So I don't know how many of you would want to use this as an everyday torch because it will quickly become cumbersome having to constantly replace the cells. You can buy rechargeable but these will of course be inferior to proper lithium ion cells by Duracell or alike. They take a special type of cell which is usually used in things like alarm systems. CR 123 type. They're also 3V batteries, so 6V in total. That is the reason why this little thing is so much brighter than the bigger D cell torches. Still, I keep this by my side all the time now, I might buy another just to have in the car. Excellent piece of kit and highly recommended to everyone.

Producto entregado en buen estado, puntual, cubre las expectativas....! Pero, al principio, la linterna, funcionó bien con las pilas que venían incluídas, con un poco de uso, la linterna (pilas) perdió potencia, compré otro par de buena calidad... De igual forma, al principio funcionó bastante bien, y al poco tiempo le pasó lo mismo, perdió efectividad de alumbrado, el botón no sostiene las funciones, y por si fuera poco, las baterías sirven pero, dura poco tiempo encendida.... Tengo la linterna ML125 RECARGABLE, desde hace 8 años y funcionando al 70% con la pila recargable y al 100% con pilas convencionales de buena calidad.. cabe destacar que esta linterna la compre con un distribuidor autorizado...
