I love this machine. Recommended by a friend from South America who routinely makes arepas for her family. We have used this machine for arepas, pancakes, little panini snack sandwiches, brownie bites, and so much more. Anything you can think of that you can bake in a circular pan with heat on both sides can be made in this little guy. The versatility is amazing! The light tells you when it has reached the selected temperature. If you lift the lid and it cools, the light comes on to show it is reheating. The size is perfect for the two of us but also for a family of four. I have had this for 9 months now and I use it at least every week if not twice a week - it is very durable and easy to clean. I have never had anything stick but I have had cheese and other things overflow as the items cooked. That said, it is easy to remove any excess food or spills - wipes off without any difficulty using a sponge, soap and warm water. Don't use metal utensils and do be careful when lifting the lid because the handle can be hot (as the instructions caution). The best thing for me is how easily I can make a meal for everyone without heating up the entire kitchen or dirtying a pan or the stove.

I purchased this arepa toaster on Amazon and initially thought it was an excellent product. It works very well, heats evenly, and is very convenient for everyday use. However, after about two months of use, it suddenly stopped working. I decided to mention this in my review, and to my surprise, the seller’s customer service team reached out to me directly. I want to highlight how outstanding their service was. They were very kind, responsive, and truly helpful throughout the entire process. They offered me several options to resolve the issue and ultimately sent me a brand-new toaster at no additional cost. Because of this experience, my overall impression of both the product and the seller is very positive. The new toaster has been working perfectly so far without any issues. I definitely recommend both the product and the seller—not only for the initial quality but also for their excellent customer support and commitment to their customers.

We bought this arepa maker and absolutely love it. It works great and does exactly what we needed. The only thing to be careful about is that it gets extremely hot, so make sure to handle it with caution. Overall, a great product!

Maravilloso me encanto es super práctico

Don't beware of this model, just be aware. I specifically bought this model because of the temperature control knob, believing it was a timer. The way it looks, it looks like it would behave like a toaster...the darker the setting the longer the time. Like Oster's "Tostiarepa" maker. Nope! This is not the case at all. It literally is just a temperature control knob. It's not misleading per se, so just realize it is not a timer like Tostiarepa (which for some unknown reason, Oster will not sell in the USA) The first 2 sets of arepas thus far have been disappointing in flavor compared to using our toaster oven. The toaster oven takes longer, but is worth it for the taste. However, the flavor and texture are almost certainly tied to the fact that they were overcooked, since, again, it is NOT a timer. It's very annoying. If I wanted one without a timer, I'd have gotten another IMUSA. I think Brentwood or Holstein has a timer, but whichever it is, they have horrible reviews on quality control of their equipment. So they're not recommended. I'd just buy a plug-in timer for this thing, except it is unfathomably difficult to find a simple timer that plugs in the wall and wil lauto shutoff the appliance. It's so bizarre. There are some, but they're either designed for lighting and security with long lengths of time, or they are preprogrammed buttons for 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 30 (or something) What if I want 17 minutes? Why can't they simply work like a microwave and let me choose the time from 1 second to 60 minutes? I find it so strange that these don't exist, or at least do not show up in a simple search.
