Great find!
Gorgeous, rich, opaque gold. More expensive through Amazon, but love the Kuratake golds!

Initial impression A+++
I just received this yesterday, have played around with it a bit and it seems to have great potential for a variety of mixed-media uses. This is a beautiful, thick, rich gold that also mixes well with water, while maintaining its rich color and shine. I've already purchased a 2nd bottle as I like to have backups of products I anticipate using frequently. That said, this product is so rich, thick and concentrated, it will probably be quite some time before I crack open the 2nd bottle. I hope it doesn't dry out.

Beautiful High-Shimmer Gold Ink
This is a beautiful highly shimmering gold ink. I use it in my watercolors and it blends with them beautifully. It is not too thick, making it easy to control. It is very opaque and provides a beautiful accent to handmade cards.

Great for your art works
This an excellent ink I used it in my paintings. It is thicker. Definitely bright and worth the money. The size of the bottle is very small. It’s great functionality for my arts. Thank you. Very fun to use.

Easily add touches of gold shimmer to your artwork.
This gorgeous gold isn't just for dip pens. I've used it very successfully with paint brushes, stencil brushes, and sponges on cardstock, and tissue paper for collage. It works well with stencils, too. A little bit goes a long ways.

Nice quality, too pricey
So vibrant and easy to apply. Just wish amount was bigger for the price.

Absolutely hobsmackingly gorgeous! As a watercolour and mixed media artist I always add a touch of gold, including 22carat gold leaf just to add a point of interest. I will go away from the gold leaf and exclusively use this. It has body which holds brush strokes and a strength of gold which surpass (not to be confused Kuretaki Zig ink) and stands up beautifully. It is opaque but can be diluted to a semi transparent state. If you love bling i highly recommend.

A great product, thick, pasty and very shiny.

Left over paint dries too hard to rehydrate. I use gum Arabic in water to mix the dry paint back to liquid. This works well for me. If it doesn't work add more gum Arabic.

If you like what you see in the photo, what you see is what you get! The Kuretake photo is exactly what you buy, and what's really impressive is that it's even more beautiful in person! What had me confused by the wording 'kneaded' but I knew that is was a transliteration from the Japanese - in this case it means 'paste' - it's a wonderful, gorgeous ink! I know Kuretake is renowned for top quality - I have many of their watercolours and ...wow... I've never, ever been disappointed by any of their products. The gold really stands out against a black background - my next project is to use it to highlight edges on resin pieces, and to highlight 'galaxy' pours. I am so impressed with this ink and so I highly recommend not only the ink but all of the Kuretake watercolours - you won't be disappointed! :)
