I used this for my last fireplace and they stayed beautiful for the three years I had them. When I needed to peel them off, they came off easily and didn’t leave any stickiness or marks. During the time I had them, I was able to wipe off any smoke that got on them and people were amazed when I revealed they weren’t actual tile. Excellent product! I got them a second time and have them on my fireplace again. The design is perfect and the quality is durable and dependable.

This is my first ever review, I normally don’t do them, but this decorative tile saved me so much time and stress!! Ever since we moved in to our house I always hated the kitchen backsplash, I researched painting it but it seemed like a daunting process and I didn’t know if it would even turn out good. I found these decorative decals, and I instantly wanted to try them, but I was hesitant because of the price it would cost to do my whole kitchen. I decided to go for it and I am so glad I did!!! It took me four packages and about four hours to do my whole kitchen and I was blown away by how fantastic they look! They were super easy to install and the pattern is very forgiving if you get one a little uneven. I would 100% buy these again! I included a picture of my fully finished kitchen and one where it is a work in progress to see just how well it covered the mural that was previously there! If you are in doubt, just buy them!

I love love love how it came out. Super affordable and life saver for a quick TLC and cover up of ugliness. When you’re on a budget this is the way to go. Might wanna add an extra layer of glue to withstand humidity. Glue lacks A little.

I bought these over a year ago as a temporary backsplash near by sink and my slide-in stove. The tiles were difficult to install and to keep them straight. They are paper thin. From a distance they look fine, but up close, they look really cheap. They easily peeled off for replacement, but the lack of adhesion became a huge problem after a few months. The steam vent on my slide-in range is against the wall, so they get a straight shot of steam any time that I use the oven. The edges have curled, and the tiles have shrunk. The ones by the sink are in great shape, though! I'm replacing with a different type of peel and stick that is heavier/thicker and will hopefully hold up better.

I LOVE these peel and stick tiles! I did them before Thanksgiving & everyone that’s been over since loves them too AND cannot believe they’re actual stickers! They are thin stickers which was fine with me. The only problem I had was adhering over my existing tiles which have grout between them. Sometimes they’ll bubble out but only in certain areas. Not every grout area! I can live with that. I just push them back in & they stay for a week or so. Next time I buy these I’ll make sure I apply them to flat surfaces!

I really do love this product, it is easy to install, stylish and you can update/change the look of your space quickly and easily! Now what I am not so crazy about is the consistency . I placed my first/original order on August 13th and began tiling my fireplace (first pic) realized I would need a second batch to finish and placed another order. I received 4x4 tiles of the same design which were incorrect size. I returned and placed another order for the 6x6 tiles I needed, I received my order about a month later and the tile design is the same but the colors are not. The inlay design on the new tiles are blue grey and the original are just gray. I would just like to get the right color so I can finish my project. I have emailed Alma tiles and will update my review once it is resolved. *Update: the return process was easy and they did email me back saying that each batch could turn out different as they are printed at different times. I am a little frustrated by this as I love the first order I received because the color and look are perfect. I just want to finish the last little bit of my project and be done, I will try to place one more order and hope it’s similar to the first order I received otherwise I will need to tear off and start again with another set of tiles.

I bought these 4 years ago when I redid my stairs. I pulled up the gross nasty carpet, pulled up every nail, staple and screw, then sanded the every loving daylights out of and stained the steps. I measured and cut underlayment pieces to attach to the risers and applied these peel and stick tiles to the underlayment first. I then attached the underlayment with liquid nails and my nail gun. The before and after was incredible, and I did it on a dime. total cost for a split staircase (about 20 steps) was $250. I got a BAZILLION compliments on them, still do. I will say however, after 4 years some corners have lifted a bit, which I am sure is normal, I took some small finishing nails and tacked them back, easy fix. Needless to say, I recommend these tiles, especially for the price!

I had my house insulated which required drilling hole in the walls to spray the insulation in. I was looking for a way to cover some of the holes when I purchased these decals. They are thick with a silver backing. The adhesive sticks well but also allows repositioning so they can be lined up. I'm really enjoying the look it is adding to our livingroom.

So the first disappointment with these was an AMAZON issue, as the 5 packs of tiles were just put in a regular bag(not even bubble bag) where they tossed and turned on their way to me, and arrived pretty bent and banged up. After pressing them flat with piles of heavy flat books for a few days they eventually flattened out again, but a poor start. The next disappointment was that they are shown as being 6x6, but they are actually 57/8”x 5 7/8”, so if you are putting them 4 high, you will be out a combined 1/2 inch at the top. Depending on your measurements you will need to order a lot of extras to cut for the extra piece needed, and pattern matching needs. The next disappointment was that while most tiles were the above size, some were smaller, at 5 6/8”, and some were not the same size to be square..5 7/8 x 5 6/8 which over a long run means you start to have gaps if you want the line to stay straight. Next disappointment was that since the tiles aren’t all cut the same, the design starts to have variations as you put them up..the dots don’t all align etc. The biggest disappointment though came after they were finally all on the clean, dry wall and I thought the project was done. Next morning, surprise ! 6 tiles have fallen off. Put them back on, and next day 11 more have fallen off. This continued for two weeks, and I finally bought spray adhesive and started gluing them back on because the backing on them just will not stick despite the wall being a perfectly flat, clean, dry surface. So if you have to glue them on they are no longer something you can pull off without damaging your wall. Very disappointing and frustrating couple of weeks spent on what should have been a straightforward project.
