I originally got this for my husband, cuz he was talking about getting one for some time. Well we both use it when cooking every meal! The value for the money is great. Its easy to use and accurate. We rely on this now when cooking any meat. Its easy to read as well with the light that comes on and when the light shuts off. Its helped cooking become easier and sometime quicker cuz now we're not over cooking food lol. Very helpful kitchen device! And it's magnetic to can stick it on the oven door or the fridge for easy access while cooking. Takes up no space at all.

This is a great thermometer. I've bought the cheap ones and the expensive ones and they all fall apart pretty fast. This one is durable, easy to use and accurate. Also it does not require those expensive, little batteries, it will take a standard AAA. I would highly recommend this one to everyone.

I like the fact that it is magnetic and can be placed on the side of my toaster oven. It appears to work well, but it is not as fast as the one that I currently own. I had to replace my thermometer last year and that one was more expensive. That was why I wanted to try this one. However, I am only talking about 5-10 seconds max... so that is not a deal-breaker. I am keeping it and will adjust to the few seconds of time to read the temp. I bake and check the temp of all breads, muffins, cakes as well as meats. The temps are easy to read. I love that it is quickly accessible and I don't have to search for it in a drawer. I would rate this as a 4.5 but there is not an option for that score.

This thermometer works great and is easy to use. It has a bright light and large numbers. I bought a few and gave them to family members to use. Everyone loves it.

I have bought 6 digital thermometers and hated all of them. This is the first one I’ve purchased that I love. This has a great quality feel and really works well and gives an accurate read on temp.

Has worked great for last three years. Plastic housing probe finally cracked so we are buying another. It still works but we're worried about food getting caught. Works well, not instantaneous but fast enough. Great price for something that has been used a bunch.

The power button ultimately failed on the old reader. This model automatically turns on when you unlatch the probe. The time-out feature and auto on when picked up is wonderful. No need to wipe the probe before latching it back in the slot. I find the Temps to read accurately, but the instructions on how to calibrate it over time is handy.
