They are fully compliant with the latest legal standard - BS EN 3 - 7 and they are CE marked.. I had mine checked out by my local fire safety officer who approved it. Looks like it would be a good buy for you. **Q: What, specifically, is the extinguishing agent used in this product?** A: From the SDS sheet on their website, it's water + ammonium sulfate. Ammonium sulfate seems to be a fire retardant used in aerial forest fire fighting. However, I don't believe this is suitable for all fires, as they claim.
