Perfect planters
While plastic, this is a matte dark grey that doesn’t look out of place. It’s 5” square though only 3.5” deep due to the water reservoir space. Getting a 6 pack this is a great value and the material seems to be high quality. Having the visible water level is huge, watering will now be as easy as topping up without having to carry plants back & forth to the sink to drain, much faster and requiring less energy. Note these use the same watering mechanism as Lechuza planters, though it doesn’t come with pon for the bottom layer as those do. My other self watering planters use the wick method so that is an added step/expense. There are DIY pon recipes if you google, though absorbent things like pumice or vermiculite might work fine alone. I’ll be using these to upsize plants already in hydroponic medium leca & pon.

Delighted -- exceeds expectations
I absolutely love these! They look great -- sleek and modern -- and the little water meter is genius. How it works is that it's a little floating device with a little stick attached; as the water gets used up, the floating thingee will sink, and you can thus see the stick go lower and lower in the water gauge. I bought two sets, and I am really delighted. The one caveat is that the internal piece in the pots (the part that allows for the drainage, and also the corner section where the water meter goes) does make the interior of the pots smaller than expected (since the bottom is elevated to prevent root rot, and since the water meter itself takes up a corner of the pot). That is, I transplanted herbs I had purchased that were in 2" x 2" containers, and the net depth of the pot (since the bottom is elevated) is about 2", so while my herbs' roots now have more room to grow outwards, they can't really go any deeper. So, if you really need all 5.5" of volume for your plant, consider getting something bigger. However, so far my little herbs seem to be loving these. I was initially a little hesitant due to the price (it came out to about $7 each, which felt steep), but now that I have them I am happy with my purchase. I'm not sure why Amazon isn't letting me upload pictures to my reviews; if I can figure out how to do that, I'll upload a picture here so you can see how cute these are!

Get the job done
These pots are very sturdy and light weight. They are plastic, but don’t look cheap like some other plastic pots do. They get the job done and have a very handy indicator that lets you know when to add more water. Overall, I would recommend these pots. Just keep in mind that color listed as blue is actually a darker gray. It would also be very helpful if instructions were included with the purchase.

Excellent pots- third order and will order more.
This is the best idea ever. I needed a bigger pot for a pathos I found in the condo I bought. It was so sad and I didn't know how to know if she was properly watered as I went along. Purchased my first package of 2. These pots tell me exactly how much water I have going on in the pot. My pathos thrived, I took cuttings and purchased my second set of these pots to pot the babies. Now I'm on a roll and going to try succulents in them- something I have never been able to grow. Purchased these as my 3rd set for those. I figure if I can see how much water there is for plants that need quite a bit of water, I can also use them to keep an eye on those that don't need much water at all. I will be using a moisture meter as well with the succulents. These pots water from below which keeps water from just pooling at the top and not getting to the roots. So happy to be able to have houseplants- the price is worth the happiness :-)

My absolute favorite style of pot
I use these pots for Venus flytraps, I'm currently using over 25 of these pots at different sizes. EXCELLENT robust quality and the water meter is a nice addition. I love being able to water my plants directly from the watering corner of the pots. Absolutely my favorite pots. And they're sleek and are photogenic for photos of your plants. Great pots. I've been telling many people about them

Really great value for the price
These were the best priced ones I could find with a decent quantity, so I was a little nervous that they were going to be subpar. But they definitely are not! They came with no directions, so it was a bit confusing to put the water level trackers together at first, but not extremely difficult. Quick shipping and perfect size as well. Will definitely be ordering again!

Perfect for Leca (semi hydro) setup!
I've ordered other pots from this brand multiple times I love how inexpensive they are and great quality! Its plastic but its thick sturdy and not shiny or tacky plastic. It has more of a matte finish, looks cute and easy to keep the white pot clean. Being a plant hoarder, It's great if you need multiple pots and dont want to spend a ton of money but want it to be more stylish. I use the self watering pot for my semi hydro setup using leca it works perfectly for my needs! I havent used it for soil yet but I would assume it would be best for plant that like to stay constantly moist like calathea and ferns. I could see the design of this working well with soil. The white outer pot has a barely visible line inside to tell you where to fill the water which I appreciate but wish the line was more noticable.

Plants love it!
You will need to assemble the moisture meter, and even though it was super easy to assemble, it's a little flimsy. I "think" I got it right, but the way it sits inside the holder does not look very sturdy. However, I will say that overall functionality works great, and plants are growing like crazy!

Not what I ordered - but -
Ordered 3 more T4U 5.5 inches square sided self-watering pots, (my second order), because I liked the first 3 so much. I love the square shape and the moisture indicator - just right for my kitchen plant shelf. Instead I received 3 of the larger Garden Basix 7 inch round self-watering pots. Great pots, not what I ordered, bigger than what I need and no up charge though these are usually half again the price. No complaints, I found a use for them :) My guess is that they ran out of stock for what I ordered and opted to replace my order with something similar but of greater value :) Thanks

1 out of the 3 pots was cracked
Nice pots but one had a 3 inch crack, I was still able to use because the crack was on the top and put some tape on it but some quality control should be done before shipping. The packaging was not broken.

Good self watering pots
These pots are on the small side (4 to 5”) but they are great little self watering pots. They’re sturdy. The inner liner can be lifted out for cleaning. Water float works well to show you how much water is in the basin. They are attractive and look good on a table or ledge. I use them with Lechuza pon as the substrate and my plants do very well. I’ve ordered the larger pots in the past and like them just as much. These pots are a good alternative to the much more expensive Lechuza pots. I recommend this product.
