Presenting an alternative form of birth control for the couples who are seeking a natural method of family planning, The New No-Pill, No-Risk Birth Control shares the best ways to spot the vital body changes that signal fertility, how you can use natural family planning to regulate hormonal cycles, and experts’ advice on how breast-feeding can help prolong your post-pregnancy infertility. Review: All Sexually Active People Need To Read This Book!! - This is such an interesting book. I think all women should read this regardless of whether they choose NFP, birth control pills, IUDs or other contraceptives. There is so much we are not taught about out bodies, and that knowledge is so powerful. We all have the right to understand how our cycles work from start to finish, and so do our partners. I don't know many people at all who are aware of what ACTUALLY takes place and how it affects their ability to conceive. I also don't know many people who are comfortable talking about this subject. This book has satisfied my curiosity on this subject, and taught me so much that I never learned in college biology classes. This book has made a lot of sense out of things I've personally experienced for years and never knew the reasons behind. I cannot put this book down. I love the way it is written. It is highly informative, but not overly formal. It is written authoritatively, but not condescendingly. Add it to your reading list. It is a very great resource. Review: Well written and detailed - Before I bought this book, I read all the reviews of similar books. I decided on this one because it seemed like the only one that focused specifically on not getting pregnant. It was easy to read and had all the information I needed, with good drawings and detailed descriptions of the fertility signs. I've had no problem following the guidelines for tracking my fertility. I copied and enlarged the chart that's at the end of the book and have been using it for tracking. But I should clarify that I was already familiar with natural family planning and had been casually tracking some of my fertility signs for years, so I'm not a beginner. I think if you're just starting out, you might want to also take a class or work with someone who can give you feedback and answer questions.

A good resource
Explained the methods thoroughly with quite a few examples. Not as good as "Taking Charge of your Fertility" by Weschler though, that one was much better. It was a good supplement to Taking Charge of Your Fertility (TCOYF), explaining things a little quicker and in less information than TCOYF. There were also a lot of chapters comparing the benefits of natural versus hormonal birth control.

I recommend “The New No Pill
In her book, “The New No Pill, No Risk Birth Control” Nona Aguilar, thoroughly explores natural family planning methods. I recommend “The New No Pill, No Risk Birth Control” in the suggested reading section of Chapter 10: Premenstrual Syndrome in my book, YOUR BODY CAN TALK: HOW TO USE SIMPLE MUSCLE TESTING FOR HEALTH AND WELL BEING . “The New No Pill, No Risk Birth Control “is a classic text and a must need addition to your home library if you are interested in natural birth control methods.

Book review
This book is good, but be careful with the natural planning method...it is still very risky. For more information, see my blog: Women's Health Daily at [...].

Effective 'Breastfeeding Birth Control'
I can't say that I've used all of the information in this book just YET. I am writing a review because I have used the advice contained in this book that explains all of the 'necessary conditions' for using breastfeeding as a method of birth control. Well, for me, this was a 'leap of faith'. I knew I did not want to take the pill, and also that I did not want children closer than nine months apart! So, in addition to the advice that is given in this book, we also used condoms for the first two or three months after birth(s), and 'the rest' has worked great for spacing each of my 3 children 3 years apart. This is definite reading for every married couple, but especially every woman that does not want to take the pill (especially while breastfeeding).
