How does the fastening work?

Thanks for your question. The post at the back of the earring is on a hinge which lifts up so you can thread the post through your ear and it then clips back down to fasten. Thank you.

Do they make your ears sore?

I wear mine every day, never had sore ears. Very lightweight and comfortable to wear, even sleep in.

This is my 3rd pair of hoops from Philip Jones.. they are just the right weight/ thickness they are easy to put on- they are stylish pair up with any outfit. I’m very sensitive to metals but these gorgeous hoops have not irritated I wear them constantly and haven’t tarnished.. definitely recommend 🫶🏽
