As the owner of a design company, sometimes clients need items that are difficult to find on the market- so- I update items they already have! For large scale projects, I like the bigger leaves- but for this project, these leaves are the right size and color!!! (Sometimes the colors of these leaves are too much- love this color!)

I read a review from one person that said all of their sheets were curled up and broken but I went ahead and tried them anyway. Every color I got was perfectly flat except for the red ones. They curl and crack when you take the paper off. I'm not too bothered though. I warmed the leaf between its two papers with my heat gun and that helped it not roll as much. It was still cracked some but it was better than nothing. All the others are terrific and perfectly flat like the pink color shown.

The different color sheets of "gold" leaf, are just what I needed to get a jump start on Christmas gifts. Everything about them is great, including the price, the quantity, the colors and the shipping time. It's been a while since I worked with gold leaf, so I wasted three sheets, but it wasn't a big deal. There are plenty of sheets in each color. Buy three packages of this leaf, and you could probably cover a car. LOL! I recommend it with no hesitation.

This is a delightful assortment of colors! Each color was sent in its own plastic wrap, with cardboard labeled on the top of each stack to tell you what each color is. Each sheet of foil is between two layers of thin paper. I have rarely had any issues grabbing only one sheet of foil. These hold up in both epoxy resin and UV resin, and don't seem to discolor in heat or UV / sunlight. They also don't leach color into the solvent, which is great! The whole sheet is the full color as well, so a sheet of red will be red on both sides and not silver-backed, for example. Sometimes you run into bad foil so I thought I would clarify that this checks out fully ! For me, one or two sheets is enough for one project at a time. These will last and I will absolutely buy them again when the time comes. There are multiple varieties of gold on offer with very subtle differences - be careful not to mix them up or knock a stack of them over (speaking from experience!) My one suggestion is to use these in a cold room and to have dry hands/gloves! That will ensure you can take the whole sheet out and crumple it as needed without any coming apart or sticking to you.

Got this for various projects have planned for this vibrant set of colored foil leads set. Have etched glass jars with handmade labels want to make more visible with wide range of colors, have some lamps and shades that need a restoration of change, some paintings I've done that want to experiment with, have some miniature DIY projects plan on using them in, and a host of other things, have different sealants for different materials will be applying these to so know cannot use an all purpose sealant for these various projects, will have to do research to find the adhesives and sealants that will work for you as an individual. I'll update this with possible pics of the various projects I'm working on at once....lol I definitely recommend, and yes these are thin individual pieces of colored foil leaf squares, all of them are if that's going to be an issue for you, this isn't for you, an try colored markers or something.... You have to be patient, an be creative. Make these projects a one of a kind.

端が切れていた物もありましたが、枚数からいけば大した事は無く、問題無く使用出来ています。 使う色、使わない色が出てくるとは思いますが、購入して良かったです。

6色で100枚ずつ、600枚もあるので使い切れるか不安を感じつつも、使い放題だなぁとワクワクしています。 届いた時に箔の塊の角が汚く潰れているものがあり、箔が割れたり欠けたりしている事もありますが…それはまあ価格も価格なので気にならないです。 これまで金属箔を扱った事がないので箔の良し悪しはほとんどわかりませんが、ちょっと使ってみたところ銀色の箔に色をつけて金色などに見せているらしく、そのため接着が弱くて箔が作品から剥がれる時に色落ちする事があります。 箔の色や接着剤にもよるのかもしれません。 あと、箔を何かに貼り付けるには他にも色々な道具が必要になりますが、箔と一緒にAmazonで注文をお考えの際は「金箔用」と謳った粗悪品の筆や竹ピンセットにはくれぐれもご注意ください。ほとんどが粗悪品です。 最初から専用の道具を全部揃えなくても、 あかし紙→ロウソク又は赤ちゃんにも使えるタイプの混ぜ物のないワセリン、トレーシングペーパーかコピー用紙などで作る。 竹のピンセット→ニス塗りしてないコンビニの竹の箸などを代わりに使う。 余分な箔を払うための柔らかい筆→100円ショップのメイク用の筆を利用。 ーーと、身近な所で揃えられるものですむ場合があります。 本格的な道具が欲しくなったらちゃんと日本画の画材として売られている物を購入しましょう。 あかし紙（あかうつし紙）はちょっと作るのが面倒なので箔と一緒に購入すると楽です。 他には接着剤となる膠液やアクリル画のメディウムなどはもちろん、べビーパウダーや箔のくずを集めておく袋か小さい容器があるといいです。 ガムテープとかコロコロがあれば舞い散る細かい箔にイラつかずに済みます。 とりあえずこれくらいです。 あとは楽しむだけですね！
