Beautiful, Stylish Cabinets - And GREAT Assembly Directions!
I am very happy with my cabinets and plan to order more.1. The box was well packed and even though it was beat up a bit in shipping everything inside was in good shape and protected by foam.2. The finished product is beautiful, stylish, and functional. I love that it is the height of a counter. It's very nice and looks great with a picture frame, vase, or decorations on top.3. The directions were the best. I have never had more clear directions with detailed pictures. The directions were on full size 8-1/2 x 11 paper, so legible. I appreciate that.4. It honestly holds a lot. Based on the measurements I didn't expect it to be so accommodating inside, but it is spacious inside.5. It is a good value for the money.6. It took me about 2 hours to put together. I still have another one to assemble and expect that will take less time since I know the tricks now. I used a regular screwdriver, so it was hard on my hands and tendonitis. It really doesn't need an electric screwdriver, but that would be easier on the hands for anyone with wrist issues or tendonitis. Otherwise, it was easy to assemble. I took my time with it. The door alignment is the hardest part with the hinges. I might go back and fine tune that a bit more when my hands feel better. There was a part in the directions that had you put the hinge on the door and then screw the hinge to the cabinet. By then my hands and wrists were giving out and it seemed too hard to hold the door in position while screwing it on to the cabinet while it was upright. I decided to lay the cabinet on its side and found it much easier that way to screw the door onto the cabinet. Then I flipped it to the other side and put the other door on. I did have to lift the door a bit from the ground, but that was easier than holding the door upright would have been.7. Assembly tip... if you are going to put the cabinets back-to-back, don't attach the wall strap as you will have to remove it later so they can be pressed flush up against each other. Also, when nailing the back on I positioned the back piece so that it was flush with the top of the cabinet since I was putting them back-to-back. It's a thin panel and would leave a seam otherwise. A furniture marker can be used to fill in the color on the top edge of back panel and then the seam won't be obvious.8. The finished product is sturdy and easy to move around on the legs. It's not too heavy, but a perfect weight. While it was empty I could easily tip it back to adjust the leg height underneath. Once I put items inside it would not tip over unless a child or someone was pulling on it just right. I think the wall straps are only needed to nail to the wall if stacking them, but for people with young kids they'd be a good safety measure.

Quite handsome, looks a little better than it is.
This is a low-cost item, so, naturally you should expect thin plastic veneer on not-very-thick particle board. BUT it looks good, and (contrary to negative reviews here) I thought the assembly was very well documented and very easy. Now of course you DO have to follow the instructions! Apparently some people have found it difficult, and naturally they get annoyed and write bad reviews. I thought the instructions were excellent, the fasteners were very clearly packaged, and if you proceed in a methodical way, it shouldn't take more than an hour from start to finish. The alignment of predrilled holes was good, and the finished product is stable and reasonably sturdy. Lay out all the parts in alphabetical order, read the instructions carefully before performing each task, and you should have no problem. You will benefit from having two people when you are installing the doors. I did it alone, but holding a door in position while aligning the blunt-tipped hinge screws required some attention. It's easier if someone else holds the door for you. And you have to push hard to get those blunt screws started. The advice in the instructions to use a manual screwdriver is worth heeding. When screwing into particle board, don't overtighten, and don't use an electric screwdriver. If you overdo it and strip a hole, you'll have to use glue to hold a screw in place. After the assembly is finished, I suggest treating this item with a reasonably gentle touch. The finish will probably scratch quite easily, and slamming the doors is not a good idea. But if you treat it in a civilized fashion, it should last. That said, I think it is excellent value and looks good. Exactly as I hoped.NOTE: Pay attention to the shipping weight. The box is heavy. I cut it open where UPS left it, and carried some of the parts into the house before returning to pick up the rest.

Very nice but way too heavy and no casters/wheels!
Although very good quality, it's heavy! (that's the reason for a 4 star rating...it should have casters/wheels on it and/or not be as heavy imo). Provides excellent storage for kitchen and put the microwave, toaster, and small blender on top as well...it is a bit taller than our microwave cart though and we have to bend over to reach the handles on the doors (and we are not short people), but we actually like that its taller. Interior is very roomy...pleasantly surprised! Was relatively easy assembly, besides the weight...did not have issues with the hinges, as we usually do, the doors aligned almost perfectly! The finish is very nice, matches our cabinets perfectly. Was considering buying a second one for office storage, but unsure due to the weight. I do recommend though!

Price point and handy Husband gets 5 stars
Trust the reviews on the positive side! I purchased two of these cabinets for my office storage and they are perfect for my needs. If you are lucky to receive the product without damage and have a lot of patience or a handy spouse to put it together it will be perfect. A few tips that are important: Read the instructions carefully when putting together and make sure the front is where the door hinges will attach (extra holes on the front side). There were reviews saying the backing is just cardboard but in reality it is a heavy hard backing that will work perfectly fine when it is tacked on with many nails for stability. Double check if everything is facing the right way before hammering on the backing. I especially like the large brushed silver handles in front. I purchased the Dakota Oak finish and under natural light it looks like a dark wood with vague blue hues. An interesting piece. Also the company includes wood grain stickers that match your finish if you want to cover inside cabinet holes. Overall a great purchase.

Nicer than I expected and very well put together
This is nicer and bigger in person. We are renovating our fifth wheel and I bought this to replace the broken cabinet that was in this space. Looks fantastic next to my wine fridge. Would look better if hubs didn’t just lay his stuff on top of everything. Lol! Also wish it came with a a second shelf. So much wasted space on the inside for what I needed. But still like it. It’ll look even better once I get around to putting up the wall paneling behind it. Just waiting for a bit more cooler weather before I start that project.

1 person assembled, suggest 2 people to assemble
A lot more storage room than expected. No issues with assembly until it came to the doors and feet of unit. For 1 person it took 45 min to put it together but 2 hours to get the doors attached, I finally was able to do it backwards by attaching the hinges to the cabinet and then attaching the doors. I’m sure with 2 people it would have gone faster, when I build the 2nd one I will have 2 people and I’ll update the review then. The screws included to put the feet on the unit are not very long and easy to not line up, this led to a lot of rescrewing which then made the hole too big for the screw to stay in which made it very wobbly. I finally found some thicker screws at home, although they were too long and cracked the inside of the cabinet in the screw area, but that’s my own fault since I didn’t use what was supplied. However, it is extremely stable once I used thicker screws. So if it’s wobbly for you, that might be the issue. I’m very pleased with the result and experience. Everything was labeled nicely and instructions were clearly written. It will be easier with 2 people, but one person was able to do it, eventually.Update: I built the 2nd one with two people and it went so much faster and no issue putting on the doors.

Good, But a Little Lacking
Just finished assembling this cabinet, so I thought I'd share my fresh observations. It's a piece of Sauder furniture, so you're getting composite pressboard-type material. Don't expect pine or hardwood. I've seen some reviews whining about the quality, hello, you're buying a piece of Sauder furniture for around $100.00, what do you expect? As far as assembly goes, I will say it is fairly easy to assmeble. Parts are very well laid out and marked and even come in separate bubble wrapped compartments that are clearly labeled. Each 'wooden' piece was also marked well. All you really need for to put this thing together is a Phillips head screwdriver, a hammer and you'r done. I opted to use a drill to help speed up the assembly process, but you can do it all by hand. Now, for the downside to the assembly:1) The feet assembly is severely lacking in my opionion. The starter holes for the screws you use in the feet are too SMALL to adequately start the screws. I drilled the top of them out a bit and they all worked well except for one I couldn't tighten up all the way. You might want to consider some wood glue in those holes just to be sure they are solid.2) The doors were easy to assemble and have an adequate adjustment mechanism, but as of yet, I cannot get the bow out of the bottome of the doors where they meet. Seems like Sauder should have included a stop for both the bottom and the top of the unit to help catch the doors. They are NOT even at the bottom.Overall, good sturdy piece and I would recommend, keeping in mind what you're getting. It looks nice and isnt too heavy to move around. There were some other low reviews about the packaging. One thing Sauder did for this piece that was impressive was to install strips of thick cardboard all around the main box for the unit. There was no damamge to the unit I received.I would have given this unit 5 stars if there hadn't of been the issue with the feet..
