Sharp, Durable Blades That Make Tough Jobs Easier These carbide grit oscillating tool blades turned out to be exactly what I needed for grout removal and other abrasive cutting tasks. The six-pack comes with enough blades to keep me going for a while, and they fit my oscillating tool perfectly without any fuss. I tried them on some stubborn bathroom grout and was impressed by how quickly they chewed through it without dulling right away. I tested them on both a Dewalt and a Ryobi tool, and the fit was snug on both. I bought these to open up a vertical crack in basement wall and to my surprise I only used one blade and it still has some life left. The longer pointed blade worked best for opening up the 1/16 inch crack so I could patch it. I think this worked better than a grinder creating less dust. Tool was Porter Cable PC250MT.

I bought these to supplement a Dewalt half-circle grout removal blade. The half-circle blades in this set did not compare to the Dewalt. They did remove grout, just not nearly as aggressively. The narrow triangular blades did exactly what I wanted. I used them to remove the grout between tiles that are against the wall or other stationary surfaces that the half-circle blade can't reach. They worked very well. I never tried the larger/wider triangular blades, so I can't comment on their performance.

Value and product reliability

I haven't been a carpenter for 20 years, so I remember doing grout by hand with the little scraper. These things were wonderful on a little rigid multitool saw. Quickly and easily dug out the bad grout. Wonderful product.

Product seems to last . Used it to remove thinset from old tile and it worked very well and lasted a long time.
