Very durable boxes, hard type plastic that isn't brittle. Rigid, durable boxes with plenty of interior room. Wire knockouts knock out easily and don't leave sharp edges to cut into romex and wire insulation like some of the other brand boxes are notorious for. Love the mounting means for the box. I could not locate a 5 gang cut-in box for old work anywhere online. Purchased this box with the sole purpose of modifying. Worked perfect with a little modification. Cut the mounting tabs off and was able to utilize this one to serve as an old-work box. The forward angular screw landings served me well. Furthermore, the tapped holes for the device screws are durable as well. These sections don't strip out like some of the other boxes on the market. Just a very nice, quality box.

There's not much choice for a five gang, old work box, pretty much this or ganging five metal boxes. There were enough mounting options to easily get a sturdy installation. The arbitrariness of the 14 and 12 access holes was a bit of a nuisance, not clear why they all couldn't have accepted 12 gauge.

I ordered the 5-gang electrical box, which is advertised as including a plastic separator for high and low voltage devices. However, the box I received did not come with this divider—either it was missing when it arrived at Amazon, or the person packing my order failed to include it. Fortunately, I don’t need the separator since I’m using all high-voltage devices, but its absence does reduce the overall value of the product. That aside, the box itself is well-made, constructed from strong, thick plastic that holds up well when pushing wires through the knockouts.

Installation was very easy.

Doesn't work in parts of Canada, no grounding bar in box. May meet code elsewhere. Good quality

In Canada, there should be ground screws inside the back of plastic boxes (same as metal boxes). There is then a metal strap that then bonds the yokes of each device (the metal tabs on a switch or outlet). Outlets would be grounded by the pigtail to the lug and by the screws holding them in place. The company that made Canada Code Compliant SmartBoxes went broke a few years ago but these had a grounding bar. These boxes are not CSA approved. They are UL but not ULc certified. Ordered two, both arrived in sealed packaging and neither included the low voltage divider.
