CANARI Men's Cycling Shorts

If you are looking for reams of padding to sit on the bike seat then these won't work for you. Unfortunately, that is what has flooded the market. These have minimal padding that I think is perfect, even for 70 miles. But then again, my weight is on the crank set not the seat. I thought they ran a little large compared to others and I re-ordered the next smallest size. But it's not significant, I also like them snug to avoid chaffing. I wish they still made shorts with a thin leather chamois, those are much more comfortable because you can oil the chamois and have zero friction. These are the next best thing I have found.

Good looking and good quality. Padding just right, it will serve the purpose. Washes well too. I would recommend this for bikers, either real or stationary biking.

Bought these for my first sprint duathlon and they preformed very well for a cheap pair of shorts. I’m a 32-33 waist in most pants and these felt slightly loose around the top for a large list size range but I didn’t have any problem with them riding down with biking or running. Only concern there is that if I lose any weight I won’t be able to wear them. The pad in the shorts was great for this application. Enough cushion for the bike but little enough that you don’t even notice it in the run. My only issue was the pad seemed like it was placed a little farther back than it should have been but I’m new to the sport and bike shorts so that could just be me. And while I can’t attest to how the preform while swimming I can say that getting them wet does not adversely affect their performance on other parts of the race. It rained the majority of my race and I was soaking wet but I didn’t feel that the shorts absorbed excess water and weighed me down. If you are new to the sport and looking for a cheap set up to get you started or an advanced racer looking for cheap training gear I would definitely recommend these shorts.

I bought these for my first triathlon because they were the least expensive Prime tri shorts I could find. I'm a newbie to triathlons so I don't have a lot to go off of, but I was pleasantly surprised when I got these in the mail. The medium fit perfectly for my 31" waist. They appear to be well made with a nice strip of non slip rubber around the bottom of each leg hole so they don't ride up on you. You don't notice or feel the rubber part on the bottom once you have them on. During my tri I didn't notice the shorts or have any issues at all. They dried up relatively quickly after the swim portion. The padding in the crotch is minimal so it's not annoying during the swim or run. The pad takes a while to drily out when you hang dry. Would definitely recommend.

Sorry to say these are ruined by the pad in the crotch. Shorts are good, but they incorporated a huge hourglass (think maxi-pad) cushion that is a) uncomfortable and b) very visible. This is one of the instances where you are better off going with a less expensive, or at least simpler alternative. They overthought/overworked this. It is not a tri short, it is for biking... if that.

I have been using these Tri shorts for several months. Due to other comments, I ordered a size bigger than the size charts recommended. The large (32" waist) fits me well. Keep the small sizing in mind. I am very pleased with the performance of the shorts. I have ridden up to a 27-mile ride with no issues. The padding was not uncomfortable for the run portion of my brick training either. I highly recommend the shorts.

These are just what I was looking for. The seams on the sides really make these feel great fitting. The inner seams at the bottoms of the legs are very good quality. These things do not ride up AT ALL. There is a tie on the inside of the waistband, which I like. I have been losing weight and am able to get these things tied just the way I like them. The chamois is pretty thin, but this is to be expected in a tri pant. Coming out of the water I don't feel like a have a sponge tied to my a$$. Overall these are amazing for the price.

I purchased these in March for my first tri in May. In the beginning I was happy with the purchase. The fit was good, they were streamline in the pool, dried quickly, and provided a decent amount of padding for the bike. This is my first pair of tri shorts so it may be "normal" but it does feel like I'm running with a loaded diaper. All was well for the first few months, however, about a week before the race I noticed the spandex material began to "loosen" up and there was white powdery appearance in the material. They are now too loose to wear and I will need to purchase another pair of tri shorts for the next race. To be fair, I did not machine wash them after each swim but I did try to rinse them with water after each swim. I suspect the chlorine is the cause of the material breakdown but it seems like they should have lasted longer than a few months. In hind sight, I should have spent a bit more money and purchased a higher quality short that would presumably last longer. Honestly though, when I started training I didn't think I would be doing more than one, but I had so much fun in the race I've decided to continue training for another one. No TRIng, just DOING!
