If painting shoes, use Angelus!
I bought solid white "leather" boots forever ago for like $5 with the intent to paint them a sparkly metallic pink. Let me tell you, I have tried various paint brands (from apple barrel to liquitex) and each time I redid the paint, it cracked and peeled and had to be redone. I was skeptical about putting in even more money on new paint for the shoes but u have worn them several times outside and there isn't a single crack in the paint! they seem to be holding up and I wish I had just spent the money in the first place. Angelus brand leather paints allow mixing of colors and I ended up mixing Pearlescent Rose Gold, metallic silver, and hot pink. I wish I had used less pink and silver because the rose gold looks much better in person than pictured. The final repaint of these boots consisted of using their deglazer, mixing a bottle of paint of ONLY Angelus brand leather paints, and then once dried I covered it with 2 or 3 coats of Angelus glitterlite candy pink glitter (it looks more red than pink in person, in my opinion) and then finished with one of angelus' acrylic finishers. I'm not sure about how well it would have gone without the deglazer or finisher. but I figured I'd share my experiences! save your time and grief and use this brand!

Useful now happy Coupe &Natural Lee
Need a base color for my project. Had silver spark Glitterlites but wouldn't color over original light tan. So needed base color of this silver to make thing right. Turn out looking great. The base finish worked like charm. Was easily painted on to leather project. Three thin coats and presto looking great ready for that Glitterlite to be added. Then used it on project number two. 1st 'The Coupe' Hyde and then 'Natural Lee Hyde'. To happiness.

The BEST Review: Angelus Metallic Gold Leather Paint
Listen folks, let me tell you about the Angelus Metallic Gold Leather Paint. It's tremendous. Absolutely tremendous. The viscosity? Unbelievable. I've seen a lot of viscosities in my time, and let me tell you, this one is top-notch. You won't find viscosity like this anywhere else, folks. And the coverage? Fantastic. The coverage is just beautiful. It covers like you wouldn't believe. It covers so well, it's like magic. Believe me. Now, I've painted a lot of things in my life – buildings, golf clubs, you name it. But let me tell you, painting with this stuff is like painting with pure gold. It's like painting with the tears of angels. That's why they call it Angelus, folks. Because it's heavenly. So if you want to make something great again – whether it's a pair of shoes, a handbag, or even a wall – you need to get yourself some Angelus Metallic Gold Leather Paint. Believe me, you won't regret it. [Disclaimer: This review is intended for comedic purposes only and is not affiliated with any real person or entity. This really works!! And so easy
I restored a silver Coach pebble leather in just a few minutes ! It had yellowed and I couldn’t make anything work. I suddenly had the idea that there was maybe something I could use that would restore the silver. This was a game changer. It looks like a brand new handbag. I’m so pleased. It dried so quickly worked so fast and the best part about it is that it’s water-based so you can just get it on your hands and wash it right off.

Fabulous product
I used this product on a pair of pewter Vionic mules that my mom loves for their comfort but the finish had worn off all the edges, and there was some cracking of the leather or fake leather finish making them unusable outside the house. I applied 3 thin coats and the mules look wonderful. I put extra on the areas of cracked leather and it fully covered/camouflaged these damaged areas. I also used it on a pair of Vionic black sandals that I love but have worn so much the finish had cracked and worn off in many areas. I put about 4 thin coats on them and the sandals look brand new. Time will tell how durable this finish is, but its a large bottle and a little goes a long way. I could refinish them many, many times. Love this product. I love Vionic sandals but the finish wears off long before the soles wear out. I now have a solution!

Covers well and is easy to apply
This product is easy to use. It says to wait 24 hrs, but in my case it dried during the night. The color has a shine and I didn’t use anything else. I hope it lasts and if it doesn’t I will update this review. Just to let you know, I used it on a new leader bag whose online picture was totally misleading. The bag was supposed to be inspired in Autumn, but it had a yellow color right smack in the middle which gave a subliminal message. This product got rid of the yellow and now it looks really like a bag for this season.

Doesn’t stay long
The colour is really nice but unfortunately doesn’t stay for long time.

A very light shade of silver, almost like pearlescent grey.
It says "metallic silver" but it looks like contains mica (pearlescent) flakes instead of metallic ones due to the very light grey colour. (a lighter shade than anodised 7075 Aluminium alloy) I could be wrong since the flakes are reflective, just like other metallic paints that I have used, when dry. So far I experimented by brushing the Angelus paint onto a flexible TPU 3D printed piece, I applied 4 thin coats directly to the black plastic but it needs another coat or two for full coverage. I think that spraying will give a better finish.

Genuine. Good Quality.
Fantastic product. When used with the Angelus Leather Preparer and Angelus Acrylic Finisher, you have a professional grade finish to your DIY projects.
