I understand the cord length is adjustable but is the angle of the main lens adjustable too?

the angel of the main lens is NOT adjustable. This product works well, as described; however, I found that the lens moves as I breathe which results in the background of the item I'm working on to "move". The feeling was close to being sea sick.

Does this magnifier is hand-free?

Yes, you wear it around your neck and the base part sits around your neck. I bought this for my elderly mother who loves to read magazines but some of the print is to small and holding a magnifying glass gets old she said. This works great she said, glad we bought this.

Buyer beware this light is so useless. it has no power at all. i have to turn on a lamp to see my project. why don't u tell the people the truth?

I agree wholeheartedly. I showed the light to my crafty friends, and we had to turn over the magnifier to make sure the light was on! I will keep it as it is very portable -- and usable as long as you bring another light or your destination has a good one.

What is the diameter of the lens?

The actual lens diameter, not counting the frame, is 4 1/4 inches. The extra magnification "bullseye" lens in the bottom of the main lens is 7/8 of an inch.
