Will this fit a bike with rear derailleur?

I wouldn’t recommend for a bike with derailleur. Or for a kid over about 35 lbs. It can be done but at an angle that defeats purpose of the device… it’s same height as the seat on the angle.

Can it be used on a small mountain bike/bike with gears?

I would try to keep it under 20 inches...but it should bolt on fine.

Can it attached with training wheels still on the bike?

You may not want to it’s really either or. I did not like this product we just taught our kids to ride without using it. This product kinda destroys the integrity of the wheels. Hope this helps
