Mane'n Tail Deep Moisturizing Conditioner for Dry, Damaged Hair 12 oz

My hair tends to be dry. I've used other conditioners that--like this one--instruct you to put it on your hair after shampooing and then rinse it out. Although doing this does make your hair feel smooth and easier to comb when it is wet or damp, after it is dry conditioners usually don't make your hair (or at least not mine) all that more manageable or less dry and "fly away" throughout the day. The unique thing about Mane 'n Tail Conditioner is that you also can put it on your hair and NOT rinse it out, just leaving it on your hair. This is the unique and most helpful technique I've found. When putting the conditioner on clean, wet/damp hair and NOT rinsing it out, if feels smooth and combs/brushes easily, as with any conditioner. But when your hair dries the conditioner is still there and does make your hair less dry, keeps it more manageable, it stays in place better, and it is easier to comb and manage throughout the day. I've found that using the conditioner this way works better than using other products that are specifically designed to be put and left on your hair to style and control it throughout the day. When using it this way as a conditioning and styling treatment, it is light, does not make your hair look or feel greasy (as long as you don't put on too much), and adds a slight shine and silkiness to your hair. It also has a very light and pleasant scent.

I am so glad I tried this conditioner and the shampoo. It leaves your hair soft, supple, shiny with lots of body. The shampoo does not strip the hair at all yet it's clean and bouncy with no frizzies. Really good. Wish I would've known about it years ago. Since it doesn't strip the hair, because it has moisturizing benefits, you don't have brittleness or breakage. Perfect for long hair and to keep long, lustrous and full bodied. This will make your hair prettier and fuller then it's ever been before, really truly happy.

This conditioner works quite well, but it's not anything remarkable. Given the price, it's about on par with Paul Mitchell's Detangler, so this is a good substitute for that product if one wants to save money (and don't we all?). It works well at detangling hair. I'm not very pleased with the scent, as it reminds me of bar soap or industrial hand soap, something very "neutral" and "clinical" about it that reminds me of something that is not shampoo. Luckily, it does not linger. I will likely purchase this product again, in the larger size.

I have very long hair and love using this conditioner. I used to use this over 20 years ago and forgot about it. I can leave this in a little when wearing my hair curly. This is the perfect conditioner for my hair and it loves it. I also use it as a deep conditioner when I wear my hair straight. It is hard to find a conditioner that works perfectly for straight and curly hair all the same. This one is it.

BEST CONDITIONER EVER!! First, I was a little skeptical about using horse conditioner on my hair ; BUT MAN, DOES IT WORK!!! I have very course African black hair and after every wash, I use to have to detangle my hair because regular shampoos never made it soft enough for me to comb my hair. But after trying Mane N Tail Moisturizing Conditioner, I never have to detangle after a shower. All I have to do is DRY and STYLE!! IT'S GREAT! Even when I first rubbed the conditioner on my hair, I already noticed my hair getting softer. My hair felt softer, added shine,and my split ends were LESS VISIBLE. It literally takes out SPLIT ENDS!!! I love it so much! Mane N Tail Deep Moisturizing Conditioner does more than regular conditioners do and I recommend it for anyone!

the product is amazing. I use a highly medicated shampoo ( long story, but my hair is delicate and suffered major hair thinning, so my shampoo helps with the hair loss ) , and while the active principle in that shampoo does its job and helps me, it also dries my hair majorly. Mane's Tail Deep Moisturizing Conditioner stops any negative drying effect from my extreme regimen, it literally saved my hair. Before this conditioner it was looking like a bird's nest, don't ask! but then why the 3 stars? I'm just not sure if I should buy from this particular vendor again. they didn't bother to ship for A WHOLE WEEK, and when I wrote them to ask why, in a polite manner, they offered to " help me by cancelling the order" rude! way rude! such poor customer service. But the product is amazing!!!

I was skeptical when I bought this but after a couple uses my hair feels soft and shiny and has moisture again but isn't greasy. It had previously looked rather dull and was dry which had been driving me crazy. I would recommend giving this product a try. I had previously used redken, aveda and most recently biolage and did not get the good results I got from this. Everyone's hair is different but my normal to frizzy, color treated hair likes this conditioner.

I recently gave birth to a baby boy. If your a woman you know how your hormones are all over the place. My hair was shedding really bad. I would go to a beautician here in Germany but they charged $135 for something that's only $80 back in the states. So I figured I'd buy this to help save some money. And it worked. My hair stopped shedding so bad and is more manageable. Ive used this product as a child and regret not continuing this as an adult. Now I will!

This conditioner is very good. You actually can use it with any other kinds of shampoos. I am very satisfied. Highly recommend.
