I’ve used several different colors of Sunlu’s transparent filament, and it has never disappointed me. This particular color is gorgeous — vibrant, clean, and perfect for the project I bought it for. I’m currently making transparent characters from The Very Hungry Caterpillar so my wife can use them with her preschool students. The idea is that the kids can act out the story on their light table as she reads, and I think they’re going to absolutely love it. As expected from Sunlu, the filament prints beautifully. It’s easy to work with, consistently feeds well, and the spool is tightly wound with no tangles. I’m running it on my Bambu printer, and it performs great. Overall, I’m really impressed with how bright and crisp the prints look.

I recently purchased these filaments and I’m really impressed with their quality. They print exceptionally well, producing a smooth and consistent finish. The color is perfect for creating realistic flesh tones or for printing dinosaur bones, and it also works great as an accent color for other projects. I am equally satisfied with both the print quality and the strength of the material. The finished prints are clean and neat, with virtually no stringing or overspill, and the surface finish is uniform. Throughout the entire process, there were no issues such as nozzle clogs, filament breaks, or inconsistent extrusion. The material exhibits excellent bed adhesion and interlayer bonding, resulting in parts with good toughness—they are not brittle and are resistant to breaking. Given this level of quality, the price is very competitive. After comparing it in actual use, I believe it is on par with the original filament I’ve used before—equally excellent. The filament also has a beautiful, subtle matte finish, resulting in a high-quality, premium-looking final product. The overall user experience is excellent.

This SUNLU 4KG PLA filament bundle is great. SUNLU has been very reliable for me, and this bundle prints smoothly with clean results. The filament feeds well, sticks nicely, and gives consistent prints. Great quality, good value, and definitely a brand I keep coming back to.

Bang for the buck it works great. I use it for my test models and it does just what I need. Maybe with some experimentation I could eliminate the only noticeable issue, that would be warping at the edges as it cools and lifts off the plate. Not horrible, but it does happen. Don't know if it's enclosure, plate or head temp that is needs tweaking, but I've never have any such issue on my CORE ONE+ using Joseph's genuine filaments. Bottom line, if I'm going to burn a bunch PLA mocking up a prototype this does the job. I give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Now that I'm looking at the picture I'm posting I also see some signs of stringing, very minimal though. Then some layer imperfections all at locations where internal features begin and end. They all have to do with my printers settings, I'm sure they could be worked out if I had the time or a Filament Profile. I just checked and PrusaSlicer, they have 3 Sunlu profiles(PETG, PLA & PLA+ 2.0). I'll take a look at the profile and see what settings have been modified. Hunch is that it will fix all my problems with this product. If it does, I'll come back and give it 5 stars. Happy Printing!

This big spool is perfect if you use more white than anything! Prints perfect and makes your projects look great! Spool is to big for my printer but it makes a perfect to respool my smaller spools. I dont mind the time it takes to respool from this large spool. Definitely worth the money if you use alot of 1 color!!

I picked up this SUNLU Wood Color & Green Color PLA filament for a project I’ve been working on for our Cub Scout Day Camp, and it ended up being exactly the color I was hoping for. This year’s camp theme is dinosaurs, and we host a fun 1K race for the kids, so I designed and 3D printed custom medals for all of the participants. I specifically needed a lighter brown tone that would fit the dinosaur theme without looking too dark or muddy, and this filament delivered perfectly. Beyond the color itself, I was really happy with how smoothly it printed on our AD5X printer. The filament fed consistently, adhered well, and produced clean details on the medal designs without giving us issues like stringing or clogging. When you’re printing a larger batch of items for an event, reliability matters just as much as appearance, and this held up well through multiple prints. The finished medals came out looking polished and professional, and the warm wood-toned color added a nice realistic touch to the design. Overall, this has been a great filament for themed projects, decorative prints, or anything where you want a softer natural brown color instead of a standard dark brown PLA.

Absolutely love the bone white, OD green and tan! Prints well However; every roll I've used produces a failed print do to a bind in the roll. Filament gets stuck between the side of roll and the layer under it. Might have to print a tangle breaker.

When it comes to 3D printing filament, not all are created equal! This brand I have been using for a few years now and it never disappoints! If you want a good quality filament, this brand is to be trusted! Highly Recommended! There is only 2 brands that I trust in buying again and again, this is one of them! ESun is the other brand!

Absolutely horrible plastic. Extremely brittle. Breaks ALL THE TIME in my AMS and/or in the extruder. After unloading you can visibly see all the tiny breakage inside the filament. Just did a multimaterial print with around 10 changes, every single material change broke somewhere in the feeder, AMS level, extruder etc. despite cutting after each unload the parts that was already fed in, where you can see the little breaks in. Spent more time fixing the printer than the print itself.
