This product does exactly what it says. I love it! It is so nice to keep your paints ready for you when you paint with acrylic. I do a lot of detail work on my paintings and this palette keeps my paints wet like I just put them in there. Awesome. Saves me a lot of paint. I just wish it was a little larger.

Having read the reviews for this product I think there are a few things that need to be covered. First, the intention of a wet palette like this is NOT to keep your paints fresh indefinitely. It is meant to give you the proper thinning of your paints as you apply them. It can also provide you a perfect area for dynamic color mixing. It will allow you to keep your custom mixes for a period of time with proper storage and care. The size is perfect, the included sponge and parchment paper work well to provide properly thinned paints and to preserve those paints over an extended painting session. If you are using the right paint it will keep them wet and workable for several days......IF you store it properly (lid held on with the elastic band in a cool place). Storing in my house, which I keep at 68 degrees the palette has retained moisture for 4+ days (by then my paints had separated but the palette was still good to go). The brush storage area is a nice bonus and works well with army painter brushes and has an area for normal round handle brushes as well. All in all it's a good package, yes you can accomplish the same thing with some parchment paper, paper towels, and any plastic container, but this is a neat clean package that stores well. It's worth the money to me. Ignore the people complaining about the sponge being folded in half for shipping. it has zero impact and you won't even notice it once you wet the sponge for use. Chalk it up to one of those things people complain about for no real reason. Pros: It does the job well Has brush storage built in Solid construction that fits together well Includes two sponges and a lots of parchment paper (enough supplies for a LONG time) Will retain water and save paints overnight for several nights (though there are better wet palettes for 2x the price that can do it better) This is a sweet spot in value for the dollar Cons: You can DIY something that will work every bit as well as this for less than 5 dollars It would not have been hard for them to add a rubber o-ring to the lid which would allow it to keep even more moisture for longer periods of time Though it will stay wet for several days, most paints will suffer pigment separation after a few hours (blame the paint not the palette for that)

A little small for me but it is well constructed product. I wish they had a hinge on the side instead of a strap. The middle piece I found if you over load the paint can easily smoosh down into the paint. It would be nice if they had larger versions of this as it is a bit small for a painters pallet. It does work and keeps the paint wet for longer time frames and I don't have to worry about my cats jumping up onto the table and running through a wet pallet.

What did I do before I bought this? Struggle with mixing and waste a lot of paint. Sure you can make a wet pallet yourself, but this is just more precise, fits super well together, and simplifies the mixing process. Highly affordable and well worth it.

This is fantastic . I’ve been using wet palettes for years now and decided to try this one. You can blend the colors on the paper, they won’t get absorbed. It’s so comfortable to use. Very productive.i love it. Totally recommend.

Questa wet palette è la classe di miniature lifesaver che non sapevo di volere fino a quando non l’ho avuta. Mantiene i colori umidi per ore, così posso fare schifezze artistiche senza che tutto si secchi Include spugne Hydro Foam e 50 fogli Hydro Sheets, quindi hai materiale per parecchie sessioni di tortura pittorica prima di dover ricaricare l’arsenale. È solida, facile da usare e non ti giudica quando il tuo colore preferito diventa una palletta densa. Verdetto: ottimo acquisto per pittori di mini, modellisti e chiunque ami far durare i colori più di quanto durino le mie motivazioni il lunedì mattina.

Nach dem Arbeiten mit einer Wet-Palette möchte ich ehrlich gesagt nicht mehr zurück. Dieses Teil tut nicht nur, was es soll – es macht das Malen spürbar entspannter. Die Palette kommt mit zwei Schaumstoff-Kissen, reichlich Wet-Paper und einem Deckel mit Platz für Pinsel. Alles ist sinnvoll durchdacht und sofort einsatzbereit. Farben bleiben über Stunden hinweg offen, ohne auszutrocknen, und lassen sich konstant weiterverarbeiten. Gerade bei längeren Malsessions ist das ein riesiger Vorteil: kein hektisches Nachmischen, kein Antrocknen auf der Palette, kein Stress. Man kann in Ruhe pinseln, Schichten aufbauen, Highlights setzen oder einfach zwischendurch pausieren – die Farben machen mit. Kurz gesagt: Ein unscheinbares Zubehörteil, das den Malprozess massiv verbessert. Für mich inzwischen unverzichtbar. Fazit: Einfach, durchdacht und extrem effektiv.
