Product serve it's purpose. Silica gel stones absord moisture and heat very quickly when put in hot water. Water needn't to be Boiled. I heated the water around 65-70 degree and then dipped the hot pack into hot water for around 5-10 min. Then I wrapped the hot pack in towel and used it. Better than gel hotpack or electric hot pack.

Effective moist heating but inconvenient to use
I wish the product was microwaveable. One has to boil it for every use. Otherwise the product is effective to use for it's purpose.

Not Gel...it is sand crystals. Misleading
These are not gel crystals but are sand crystals. These are used by physiotherapists and need a special most heat apparatus to keep it heated. The description given by you is misleading. Cannot really keep it in boiling water..it will not heat up.
