BUT, that’s a pretty nebulous question- just like my answer. The coil size, type of support, whether it’s an open coil or wound around an armature, etc. would affect just how well it maintained that coil. You realize the “high temperature “ part is the insulation- right? **Q: Is this wire appropriate for in-wall television installation above a wood burning fireplace?** A: You didn’t indicate if this would be for power so I can only assume. Think of this as a single stranded conductor (like any other single wire) except this one has an outer layer of white heat resistant material. Then ask yourself, “will a single conductor accomplish my goals?”. Or, “Will two (or more) of these in the wall accomplish my goals?”. They are just wires for electrical circuits - except they have extra heat proofing. I needed it to run an ignition wire alongside a hot engine block so needed the extra heat protection. Be aware that the covering is white only, so multiple wires will be very easy to get mixed up unless you add colored tags or marks-a-lot to each end. And you’ll need to order an appropriate gauge for your application (14 gauge minimum for a TV by itself). Hope this helps you decide. If it was me I wouldn’t hesitate to use it as you described IF and ONLY IF I could clearly mark each wire as neutral or hot or ground. My thoughts there are: leave it WHITE for neutral, liberally mark both ends BLACK For hot, and GREEN for ground.
